I think having duplicates is good. especially when moves are randomized.
You will have choices of who has better move sets
I'm guessing cause it's randomised off wild Pokemon, since the wild movesets of the same Pokemon would often be the same that the random ones are as well. So would have two Groudons with the same moveset. Just a hunch but may be a reason why

Guys, idea for challenge. 1 hidden encounter randomly.
For example:
Magikarp
You can catch one pokemon starting with M, 2xA, 1xG, 1xI and etc.
To make it harder, it should be the first encounter.
The interesting part comes where someone catches Eve and can only collect 3 pokemons.
For fillers of the 6 you can use some pokemon without any significant moves.

throh was too slow to use his +3 atk at such low health so a priority move was the best play. too bad he had vacuum wave instead of mach punch

I don't see any reason to ban Acrobatics. Without an item it's 110 BP, Brave bird is 120 BP although it has recoil, earthquake is 100 BP with no drawback. I don't see why it's particularly overpowered. Plus I've been yelling at you guys to start using items in every challenge anyway, and that would solve the problem without banning anything
multi attack is 120 bp with no drawbacks as well but chilln stay silent lol

Retaliate on Regigigas was from your Sword and Shield Nuzlocke Chilln. Remember you ended up losing him. But that's why you remember the Regi with that move.
Just looking at the teams you wouldn't think there was any way quick was losing this, but damn what a close one!

Definitely don't ban Acrobatics. It's only a 110 power move with no item and there are toooonns of other moves that are just as strong or stronger with no drawback.

I just thought of a way to randomize it even more. Do this kinda thing and at the end spin a wheel or extra modifiers.. like for instance you caught a Gary and the wheel landed on babies only.. so you gotta use the first stage evo with the same moves and skill set.
Which is great sometimes with those one stage evu and awful for those 3 stage ones or max evu of each. You can add other modifiers like has to have one ice move of player choice or status move for instance.
You can keep the wheel hidden from each other so the other guy has to figure out your modifiers.
That would be very interesting setup!

Hey Merry early Christmas! Huge fan of both of you guys' battling content! Gotta an idea for a future vid:
A new "misleading" pick-a-starter scenario with full customized and/or randomized Pokemon(this variable could go either way); where in the end you give details about all three but you must pick only one that you think you can convince is an entirely different Pokemon that exists but isn't present at the moment(or is it?) based off of "accurate" details the two Pokemon share without ever actually saying any Pokemon's name ever and if they do pick it, it's theirs and their picking turn is over for now. If they don't pick it; you have to tell them one of the other two Pokemon's name that they didn't pick, and then they get to make a second less-blind selection again with the new knowledge given; Winning two Pokemon in one picking turn to choose from later.

marshadow is my favorite pokemon so was nice to see him get some love, i'm very sad that he isnt on the list of compatible pokemon for when home is connected to scarlet/violet so I have to leave him in pokemon home :(
They should add a surprise/hidden sitrus berry to one of their pokemons, to spice things up. And if they do think acrobatics is broken add a clause where the sitrus berry goes to the mon with that move.
Chillin always gets on my nerves with his obsession with BST 😂 Many baby pokemon have saved their teams in the past, even defeating legendaries 😂😂

You guys should do a fusion video, but without evolving pokemon and no legendaries. All just base stage pokemon; caterpie, pidgey, sandshrew etc
You should have a challenge where you have to build multiple teams from the same catch pool (like catch 16 make 2 teams) so you have to strategize what babies to pair with what big dogs
