You guys should randomize starters and only tell the person the first letter of the Pokémons name. And to add a twist you guys have 2 extra letters each that you can use to find out the second letter of it.
Adding to it , tell 1 St letter and the type of the Pokemon

To this day I still believe that Lugia shouldve been a flying water type.
When I first got it in Silver, I used it for MONTHS without checking its typing, thinking it was Water/Psychic. I think my reasoning was "they wouldn't put ANOTHER flying legendary into the game!" And given its pokedex entry and what it does in the movie, made perfect sense for it to be water.

Battle Idea: Could be fun to see how you guys think.
Find 10 (pick 6). Any baby or 1st stage pokemon can get an item. Any Mid-Stage Pokemon can get a Berry, and Fully-Evolved Pokemon don't get anything. Gives you guys some options of passing up some stronger pokemon with weak sets for weaker pokemon with better sets and an item to make them interesting. Maybe causes you guys to really think long and hard about those teams.
Aura Break doesn't directly effect moves, it effects the abilities Dark Aura and Fairy Aura, inverting the effects of those abilities
It's so specific. Shame that it's only good against two mons

@@hommefataltaemin One of 2 abilities it can have, the other being Power Construct, which allows Zygarde 10% form or 50% form to transform into 100% form when it's HP drops to half or less

In my opinion, there’s no difference between Legendaries and Mythicals, and Ultra Beasts count as Legendaries. Ultra Beast is more of a lore differential than a distinct category.

Eh basically every mythical would be a restricted Pokémon. So they’re mostly all equivalent to the very highest tier legendary Pokémon. I’d say there are the OP legends/mythicals in one class then the ultra beasts and non restricted in another

Recommendation for a future challenge like this: you spin a wheel of types. After each spin, one of you chooses a pseudo legendary and the other a legendary. With each spin, you switch roles until you each have a team of 6 (so 3 legends and 3 Pseudos)

(Prefer it that way actually, as long as yall think the settings are fair, leads to the content being easier to make) but I never had it confirmed until you built it into the plot of the catch portion of the video! 😂🤣 Hilarious bros, keep it up.

Ummm. Dear QuickGG. When you fly east to west it is not faster because of the air streams in the sky. It’s because of the Axis rotation of the earth. Same reason why on flights the head northeast/northwest or southeast/south west depending on your hemisphere. Because your using the curvature and axis rotation as an advantage for faster flights. The earth revolves at 900-1100mph (median roughly 1000mph). And fun fact you can learn good easy earth Move patterns through space by listening to Monty Python’s Universe Song

I'm gonna post my Suggestion here as well: the dupes challenge (or mirror challenge) :)
Catch overworld encounters in pairs. One is for you to keep, one is for your opponent. The decision is made by looking at the ability and moves.
You'll end up with the same pokemon on the team, but different moves and abilities.
Could be interesting, because if you settle for a legend, your opponent gets the same one too, but the same for babies ;)
Let's find out how important the movepool is ;)
Technically speaking, ultra beasts are officially recognized as a subset of legendary pokemon.
With that said, if you guys don't want to deal with UBs on a given challenge, you have that right to your names.
Where ? They should be mythical like Deoxys but they’re not. Just regular Pokémon from another dimension and their in the Alolan Pokédex

I know who all the pseudo-legendaries are but is it only based on base stats?
Yes. All Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon are part of the slow level up group, part of a 3-staged evolution line and have a base stat total of 600.

Dragonite has always reminded me of the OG Pete's Dragon Elliot especially his shiny form. I also still think you should break out a D20 and each make a box of 20 mons then roll for teams.

Ultra beats are “technically” pokemon from another dimension so maybe there are legendary ultra beast in the dimension
Here's my idea. Coin flip to decide who goes first. You have random encounters at the same time. Then whoever won the coin flip gets to decide to keep, trade, or skip. Essentially do you both keep the pokemon you encountered, do you trade pokemon, or do you both skip. Then you swap turns and the next encounter you get the other person decides keep, trade, or skip. You each get 2 skips. You can decide before or after seeing movesets, doesn't matter.
I think the suedo Legendary Garchomp is underrated, it’s only weakness is ice spear and stuff like that. It’s also my favorite Pokémon.

The ultra beast debate is very complicated but generally speaking, legendary is the umbrella term that can be subdivided with smaller classifications like mythicals or ultra beasts. So they do technically qualify as legendary but only if you consider mythicals as legendary too.

You should catch a team of whatever you want but when you use them in battle they all show up as ditto with the same moves and abilities as the Pokemon you caught
Ultra beasts are the alternative to legends in gen 7. There is pretty much just the Tapu's, and if you count the box art legends, but I think they're technically ultra beasts too. They're essentially the same thing, just a different name for ultra beasts and they're weird looking

Ultra Beasts are a subcategory of legendaries, just like the 'minor legendaries' like the Regis and the Lake Guardians are a subcategory of legendaries. They're coded as legendaries in the game.

They’re not any of them though. Legendaries are mons who have a significant role in shaping the world and the history of specific regions etc. pseudo legends are just powerful non legendary Pokémon who have started to get lore about them. Almost hinting that they will become legendaries in the distant future. Ultra beasts are none at all. They’re technically alien Pokémon from other worlds, so in terms of legendary and pseudo, they’re neither. Ultra beast is its own category and it’s been confirmed that’s the case by developers.
I'd say we should allow Ultrabeasts
