Would love to hear his Cobra Kai show debut be like this: Daniel is teaching their class the crane kick and Terry walks in behind Daniel while he’s unaware of his presence and he says to Daniel (with his back still to Terry not knowing he’s there) “Still teaching that crane crap Danny boy?”
And John Kreese & Terry Silver would have been satisfied if Daniel had done just that. He'd have been publicly defeated and Barnes would have won the tournament.
Alpha boy Impossible, Dynatox gives the EPA a reason to do business. They're probably working under a new name. He'll offer a job to the current Cobra Kai instructor to generate higher revenue via increased liabilities. LaRusso will end up broken after being unable to control the world by himself which he has tried to do since the first movie.
damn youre right. Macchio was technically 28 and Griffith was 27. But he 6'5 I think his height and body frame made him look more manly than little Danny.
Terry Silver is an underhanded manipulator. He also has his friends back, as is seen in how he is with Kreese, when Kreese shows up at his door a broken man. He doesn't tell Kreese to take a hike, or throw him under a bus. If nothing else, he is a loyal friend.
McDago100 John Kreese saved Terry Silver's ass so many times during Vietnam war, so he will not act like an asshole to Kreese. He has a huge respect for him.
The Cobra Kai show does not ignore Karate Kid part III. Numerous references have been made and even a clip is shown in season 2 when Larusso revealed he was a Cobra Kai. I would lose my marbles in a good way if Terry Silver showed up!
The thing that still scares me the most till this day is how Daniel manages to look like a young teenage boy while Terry Silver looks like an instructor in his 30s, but irl Ralph is actually older than him by a year. what kind of sorcery seriously. 👁👄👁
You know, when I first saw this on TV, I had only seen where Silver started befriending him, and teaching him. I didn't see the beginning, where they were plotting against Danny. So him being the bad guy was actually a twist for me.
Yeah, I watched it the same way. But when Daniel started bleeding from the knuckles and Terry told him to act like it was his opponent's blood, that's when I knew something was wrong.
The actor of Daniel is actually one year younger but still the difference is uncanny. Also Daniel is four years older than the guy from the first movie.
Mr jeffrey yeah and Thomas Ian Griffith looks very mature for his age at the time. Laurence Fishburne was in his 20's and early 30's around that time but could pull off Tre's father in Boyz in the Hood. Cuba Gooding Jr, Morris Chestnut, Ice Cube, all of those guys were in their early 20's during that film. Not that far apart from Laurence Fishburne in real age. I didn't realize that Thomas Ian Griffith was a year younger than Ralph Macchio at the time either but he made it work.

I like how he’s really racist on the one hand - making mocking “wah” sounds and calling Mr Miyagi a slope - but on the other hand he dedicates his life to a Japanese martial art
What does anyone expect from a hypocritical narcissistic mygonistic stubborn and delusional womaniser that mocked woman plus pretty sure that snake 🐍 was supposed to be his own son
@bee boo I'm glad you got it. I don't think too many people would have got that joke. As far as my original comment. I know it was a strange way of wording it, but I certainly wasn't hating of Uncle Terry. I love the guy and the movie it absolutely hilarious!!!
Hulk2k6 agreed. Daniel wss somewhat annoying in the first 2 but I let it slide because the movies were entertaining. This movie wasn't very entertaining, except for Terry Silvers who played a good and manipulative role as a villain. This just brought out how annoying Daniel really was.
@melvincuarestma808 While Daniel did win the tournament against Johnny Lawrence using the crane technique and he won the fight against Terry Silver using the crane technique on Cobra Kai season 5 episode 10, in some ways it can be true not to rely on the crane technique because the crane technique didn't help Daniel in the death match against Chozen on "The Karate Kid 2" and I used to take Martial Arts and the instructor said to never use the crane technique in real life because it keeps your face uncovered against punches and you can fall down easily standing on one foot.
"It's blood.. so what? Make-believe it's his, this guy wants to break you, HUMILIATE YOU, STOMP YOU THE GROUND AND WHAT ARE GONNA DO ABOUT IT?" Best line ever
An alternate version would have been interesting whereby Danielson never realises that Silver was the villain and goes along his training the whole time and in the End still ends up winning .
"Pain, in every part of his body. And fear, in every part of his mind." "Did you come here to teach or to be taught?" "It's blood. So what? Make believe it's his. This guy wants to break you, humiliate you, stomp you into the ground!" "Danny, Danny, Danny. From the moment you met me I've been making you do things you didn't wanna do." "We have an agenda here, Daniel. It's really very simple. Either you fight one fight on one day or you fight every day for the rest of your life!" "Did you see his face? See the trail? I think he peed in his pants!" "....Where young people can come and learn the same values I've learned: honesty, compassion and fair play." "I want him to experience pain". "Now the real pain begins, Danny-boy!" "He'll get up. He's too dumb not to...." "I love it when he pounds him!" "This is more fun than I thought!"
They may be bad but we gotta appreciate the relationship between them, like Kreese is an awful human being but he's humble about saving Terry's life, and Terry may be evil but he's trying his best to pay the right price and honoured his words.
I'm so glad Cobra Kai confirmed that Terry was totally coked out of his mind during this cuz that's the only thing that would explain why he would do all this shit
Oh : his business pollutes the earth. . Best villian ever, I know Thomas Ian Giffith has retired acting since 2007 but if he does return as Terry Silver in the cobra kai series that would be one hell of a surprise. Loved this video.
And it would be quite the comeback. Thomas Ian Griffith began his acting career as Terry Silver in KK3, but if he returns in season 4 of Cobra Kai, then his acting career would come full circle.
Terry: "How do you like my Quicksilver Method?" Daniel: "It's MARVELous!" Mike Barnes (waiting hours for his dramatic entrance behind a wall): " ……. Shithead."
I always thought that Thomas Ian Griffith performance wasn’t praised enough in Karate Kid 3 and wish he was in more films, glad he is back on tv screens with Cobra Kai now
The best part of Karate Kid III is when Silver and Kreese say that Miyagi won't even be a memory and Daniel says "yes he will, YOU WON'T". Now, you have to admit, Danny boy OWNED them right there.
I don't know, the bit where Snake and the crew are threatening to let Daniel and Jessica fall down the cliff and even drop in a subtle rape threat is pretty awesome.

Daniel is teaching their class the crane kick and Terry walks in behind Daniel while he’s unaware of his presence and he says to Daniel (with his back still to Terry not knowing he’s there) “Still teaching that crane crap Danny boy?”
Him hiding behind the wall laughing like a psycho as Daniel hits the wooden dummy is classic....
Skipped the quick trip he took to the toilets for a sniff
The ultimate manipulator
"You don't have to fight you can just stand there and let him kick you're ASSS!" LMAO!!!!!!!!
That one cracks me up always
*no fight
And John Kreese & Terry Silver would have been satisfied if Daniel had done just that. He'd have been publicly defeated and Barnes would have won the tournament.
@@DavidJ867, yep, all he had to do was be in that ring and get hurt by Barnes.
3:36 "Use the crane, Danny boy!" Lmfao
That was a sound effect sample
l like that want he said that to him he did that caught Daniel hand like that
2:42 that close up caught me so off guard I’m crying 🤣🤣
Almost passed out from laughing when I first saw this 😂😂😂
Terry Silver needs to be in the new Cobra Kai TV series! For real yo
gmshadowtraders it would be good to see where he is at today. I think anything is possible. The Cobra Kai episodes are all great.
Maybe next season
Laura Larrabee
This excites me.
Well, they brought John Kreese back. So just you wait for season 2.
Griffith is actually younger than Macchio. He looks like he could be his dad in Kk3.
@@johnpablochavez8803 No he isn't.
Hamza Khaliq my bad, Ralph is actually months older than him. Look it up
damn youre right. Macchio was technically 28 and Griffith was 27. But he 6'5 I think his height and body frame made him look more manly than little Danny.
seriously? Macchio is actually older then griffith???? did macchio discovered a fountain of youth or something?
Yes. Five months younger. Weird right?
He made KK3 worth watching for sure
It was confirmed on Cobra Kai that Terry was on cocaine during this movie 🤣
Terry Silver is an underhanded manipulator. He also has his friends back, as is seen in how he is with Kreese, when Kreese shows up at his door a broken man. He doesn't tell Kreese to take a hike, or throw him under a bus. If nothing else, he is a loyal friend.
That's true too
But even then, he might just be manipulating Kreese too! To get his business lol
The biggest jerk in the whole trilogy was Daniel Larusso!
McDago100 John Kreese saved Terry Silver's ass so many times during Vietnam war, so he will not act like an asshole to Kreese. He has a huge respect for him.
That is not lost on me :)
They better bring this guy in season 3
Makes perfect sense to bring him in s3. Kreese was a bumb and needs finances to run dojo. I'm sure Terry silver would help him still
Make Cobrai Kai Great Again.
The Cobra Kai show does not ignore Karate Kid part III. Numerous references have been made and even a clip is shown in season 2 when Larusso revealed he was a Cobra Kai. I would lose my marbles in a good way if Terry Silver showed up!
Jeeses99 nothing Terry Silver is in is “shit” you heathen! Repent!
I kind of do, I guess, but I'll be just as happy if he's not in it.
The thing that still scares me the most till this day is how Daniel manages to look like a young teenage boy while Terry Silver looks like an instructor in his 30s, but irl Ralph is actually older than him by a year. what kind of sorcery seriously. 👁👄👁
Thats crazy! Daniel is really a year older than terry! Terry is suppost to be a vietnam vet.
@@khriscaplinger483 🤣🤣🤣
You know Macchio is actually older when he's in Cobra Kai training the next generation than Morita was when Morita trained Larusso. By 5 years.
“I ow man, your whole life. You hear that Johnny, your whole life.” Terry is coming back for season 4!!
Same
I still can't believe Daniel was older than silver. He looks like a teen
The actor of Daniel is actually one year younger but still the difference is uncanny. Also Daniel is four years older than the guy from the first movie.
Mr jeffrey what are you talking about? The guy who plays Silver is a year older than Maccio
I didn't realize that Thomas Ian Griffith was a year younger than Ralph Macchio at the time either but he made it work.
not older but only 1-2 years younger. lol
Terry Silver looks 20 years older than Daniel.
I lost it when screaming Kreese showed up with that loop, wasn't expecting it. 🤣 lmao
You to got admit, he is a cold, sadistic, twisted villain and we all love him for it. This guy could run for president.
@Brian Wharton last time I checked politics have nothing to do with this movie. So please do us all viewers a favor and take your defense towards that vile monster Trump elsewhere.
@Brian Wharton how about you stop calling me out of my name you asshole, because I will flame the shit out of you and don't think I will do it either. I came here to enjoy the video and you decided to start shit with me, so go piss off somewhere.
@Brian Wharton jokes on you Trump obsessed jackass, I have a high paying job and pay my damn bills to support my family, so you shouldn't be talking shit about me and these comments are 3 weeks old so get your damn facts straight.
His hissing quiet laugh at 3:04 is genius. What a great actor. Please come help Kreese in season 3 already!
I like that oooh i like that
He betrayed kreese in season 4 😏
I realized at that scene how crazy he was ^^
Yup I thought he was the joker for a second 😂😂😂😂
Even though Terry Silver was a bad guy he wasn’t a bad teacher
hes alot like Johnny Lawrence is as a teacher in the Cobra Kai series, a bit more sadistic though
Very sadistic
@@mattdubya1037 id say hes more like a kreese hypeman
terry silver was a bad guy he wasn't a bad teacher because he is my favorite character he knows
@@mattdubya1037 Are you kidding me, Johnny is a saint compared to him.
In Cobra Kai this man steals EVERY scene he is in. This character is goofy but damn did he bring him to life...
He's like Michael Myers: *the older he gets, the more brutal he is.*
A lot of nimrods are like that.
@Anakin Skywalker So any kid tht copied bruce lee is now racist
@ you're a fucking idiot dude
Chris Bradley nah he’s right. You’re a fucking idiot 🤷🏻♂️
An Oscar-worthy performance, if there ever was one.
@Jeeses99 That's what makes it so great. Thomas Ian Griffith (Terry Silver) is so terrible, he's one of my favorite actors.
@bee boo You had No idea who Thomas Ian Griffith was: well apparently neither did Johnny Lawrence.
@bee boo I'm glad you got it. I don't think too many people would have got that joke. As far as my original comment. I know it was a strange way of wording it, but I certainly wasn't hating of Uncle Terry. I love the guy and the movie it absolutely hilarious!!!
@@johnrandle9724 Exactly. That's precisely what I was getting at.

@@lesleymbuyikayembe7553 Cobra Kai Season 4
The “WAAAA” scene with mr miyagi makes this so much more funny to know 😂😂
Barnes was a true nightmare, He had the skill sets of Johnny and the mentality of Dutch.
Dutch still gives me nightmares
I think Chozen was the most gifted fighter of them all
SLIP NORRIS Dutch who? Barnes was way crazier than him.
Perfectly stated. Yes Dutch was a complete psycho
Sho_Nuff' Without Question Chozen is the best fighter but his mentality is what fucks him over.
I actually found myself rooting for Kreese and Silver in this movie. Mostly because what they were doing made no sense.
lolol
They were irl trolls.
I wasn't rooting for the bad guys but I was rooting AGAINST Daniel who had become OBNOXIOUSLY annoying in this instalment.
Daniel redeemed himself in Part 2, but blew it in Part 3.
“You think you can rely on that Crane crap?”
“Do the Crane Danny Boy”
Daniel: And I took that personally!
"I'm gonna screw with this kid by literally making him tougher" good plan.
Too bad Daniel was too big of a pussy to actually use these new skills in the final fight
I'll bet he used weaker wood on the dummy that last time when Daniel broke it
An alternate version would have been interesting whereby Danielson never realises that Silver was the villain and goes along his training the whole time and in the End still ends up winning .
No, he knows Mike Barnes will be better after years of offense training and taking out the winning formula of miyagi l’a karate makes him vunerable
This comment will pay dividends if I keep getting people trying to explain away a dumb side plot to karate kid 3 lol
"Pain, in every part of his body. And fear, in every part of his mind."
"Did you come here to teach or to be taught?"
"It's blood. So what? Make believe it's his. This guy wants to break you, humiliate you, stomp you into the ground!"
"Danny, Danny, Danny. From the moment you met me I've been making you do things you didn't wanna do."
"We have an agenda here, Daniel. It's really very simple. Either you fight one fight on one day or you fight every day for the rest of your life!"
"Did you see his face? See the trail? I think he peed in his pants!"
"....Where young people can come and learn the same values I've learned: honesty, compassion and fair play."
"I want him to experience pain".
"Now the real pain begins, Danny-boy!"
"He'll get up. He's too dumb not to...."
"I love it when he pounds him!"
"This is more fun than I thought!"
"I love it when he pounds him" sounded very sus
You forgot the 'waa waaa waaaa' part 🤣
They may be bad but we gotta appreciate the relationship between them, like Kreese is an awful human being but he's humble about saving Terry's life, and Terry may be evil but he's trying his best to pay the right price and honoured his words.
I'm so glad Cobra Kai confirmed that Terry was totally coked out of his mind during this cuz that's the only thing that would explain why he would do all this shit
Hahahah this guy is pure genius! One of the best villains ever!!
few people understand the brilliance of Terry Silver...
jamil panni I do. He's the backbone and life of this movie.
Jeeses99 You are shit. Mr. Silver was a revelation
Oh : his business pollutes the earth. .
He stalked danny plus misfortune myagi while he was also criminally tresspassed onto mistreatment myagi's land, hired 3 type mercenaries , fooled a bloke to threaten to abduct and sexually abuse, Jessica who ended up getting a probably broken and bloody nose and even likely had local crooked cops 👮 👮 👮 👮 👮 💂 💂 💂 💂 💂 🚓 🚔 on his payroll - oh how brilliant

Well...
@@IAmInfinitus208 yes

Lol when mr.miyagi started making the "WAHHH" karate sounds back I laughed so hard 😂😂
The fact that Terry is on coke here makes it so much better.
Terry: "How do you like my Quicksilver Method?"
Daniel: "It's MARVELous!"
Mike Barnes (waiting hours for his dramatic entrance behind a wall): " ……. Shithead."
I would love to see them bring back this character in the new Cobra Kai show

I always thought that Thomas Ian Griffith performance wasn’t praised enough in Karate Kid 3 and wish he was in more films, glad he is back on tv screens with Cobra Kai now
1989: Silver: “What, you think you can rely on the crane crap?”
2022: Daniel: “Worked on you.”
Rob Harris in karate kid 4 every guy in except for myagi is a potential rapist. They just threw away all subtles

He may not have nose candy but he had wine and swords 🗡
Terry silver is the only redeeming thing about this mess of a movie
Back in the day this movie kicked ass. It was a different world back then.
So true. He was fantastic
Jeeses99 That’s just how good of a friend he was to John Kreese. You better stfu about it or he will make you his bitch faster than it takes for you to say, “Quicksilver.”
Should've been a villain in a HK film he would've been perfect. Looks like a oily snake salesman and he can also fight so that means little need for stuntmen.
#AgentOrange I got a better question, What was the mess in this movie?
"What, you think you can rely on that crane crap?" Lol!!!
Unique79 its a one trick pony. You do it once and no one has seen it and you kick the dude in the face when he tries to rush you.
That next dude is like , nah bro im not runnin into yo foot.
