Temperature changed the sound!

- We who live in snowy places know that the sound of snow changes depending on the temperature. Cold snow has a different sound. So I wanted to demonstrate and check the differences, so this winter when it snowed, I took a few steps, noted the temperature, and here is all of them in a row. I have no idea who might think this is useful, maybe someone who makes sound effects should consider what the temperature is, and modify the sound accordingly.. Anyone who lives in a snowy area immediately notices when someone in a movie walks in a cold snowy landscape, and the sound of the steps are like warmer snow.
free snow footstep sounds
A whole bunch of them.
This is the closest I have come to experiencing snow in the past 4 years
Oh, that sucks! What part of the world are you in?
@@fredrikjohanssonI’m in Italy and despite being not too far from the alps I haven’t gone there recently, maybe I might give it a try this summer
@familyboggess5511 no snow there either? :/
i love walking on snow sounds
I love comments about my walking on snow sounds!
-13 is the best for me last time i had snow was in January 😅
Never knew it changes so much because of temperature
It does, and if you listen to the -1C it’s so much more quiet, it absorbs all the sounds!
@@fredrikjohansson True. When the snow has just fallen you don't hear the cars driving anymore at the low minus C degrees.
@@Drebel503exactly! I
-1 is the most silent and then it gets louder for colder and warmer temperatures
@@jagg94I wonder if there is some scientific explanation for this
bros still making videos, i respect how you dont make 8 minute ones for money. w youtuber.
Thanks! It’s probably because I don’t care that much about maximizing the monetizing ad revenue algorithms! I just make whatever I want! :)

Thanks! It something snowy people don’t think about, it just is…
Fingers crossed that climate change doesn’t kill snowing forever

So Minecraft snow is -2°C
This is canon now
Notch is from south Sweden, so it makes sense sense they have sound from warmer snow!

At least in Celsius!
