Bah! There's plenty of best Iron Maiden songs. You'll do just fine without a certain song in a certain concert cause all of the stuff they play is going to be very nice. Just let them do what they want to do. They are living legends.
@Senior Bonka If I was there, I would have liked to listen and watch them play it live, but I respect your opinion nonetheless. Good for you that you like more Maiden songs, I just don't have that gift.
I tries to get people around me to cheer, but it was impossible! Must be much more fun to play at own concert instead of at a festival… at the same time Bruce seemed a bit off at start, felt like an every day concert… however after fear of the dark they became way more motivated!

Förmodligen för att jag inte lyssnat värst mycket på den, och om man utgår från publik reaktionerna kändes det som att den känslan var ömsesidig. Senjutsu har en och annan bra låt men när nästan mer än en tredjedel av albumet går åt till långsamma 10 min+ låtar som Hell on Earth och Death of the celts (som de spelade i fredags) tycker jag det räcker. Tycker inte att det kommer som någon stor chock att de nya maiden låtarna är mindre kända när de sträcker sig så långt från vad de tidiga 80-tals albumna hade, 100% energi från början till slut.
I just started to wonder. What bands will be the highligt of these festivals in 5-10 year period. Seriously are there any bands worthy of the same stage? All the greatest bands are old as hell. Just saying.

Just learned they didn't play Hallowed Be Thy Name. That's beyond me. For many people, including myself, that's the best Maiden song.

I’ve seen Maiden lots of times. I’m all for them skipping the ”hits” and plays more obscure songs.
Would take sea of madness and Deja vu over fear of the dark and heaven can wait or wasted years.

Vad gaggar du om, nära scenen var det ju hålligång för det mesta. Eller ja, när de spelade låtar som publiken faktiskt kände igen eller brydde sig om.
