    I really hope I can achieve my dream of becoming an airline pilot one day man. Im a black minority just like you and Its been amazing to see your journey. Hella respect man. Also your opinion on working for the wholly owned regional if you want the direct major is 100% correct in my opinion. Those flow programs come off as a scam and a great way to lose seniority. It makes alot of sense why Delta would delay An Endeavor pilot from coming to delta when they can hire an Envoy pilot instead and keep both companies staffed.

    Awesome video. Im a new UH60 Blackhawk pilot in the Army. I love flying Hawks and Lakotas but the end goal is the airlines. My journey will be very different from most but you still provided some great info. Looking forward to more of your content.

    Hey I enjoy your videos. I was curious of the speeding ticket background question? In my past I’ve had some but in recent years and upcoming years I haven’t had any how prone are they to look into this for airlines and how many years back would they typically check into ? I haven’t started flight school yet but I’m just thinking ahead and hopefully soon to start flight school to work potentially at airlines in upcoming years. Thanks !

      You know honestly I don't think they care unless they're criminal speeding tickets. And if it is criminal speeding just be honest on the application. Other than that you will more than likely be good🤙🏾

    One question: you said don't fly at a regional that is connected to an airline you eventually want to work at; does that apply to Republic as well? They fly for all 3 of the majors

    Very informative video! I’m a CFI just hitting that 800 hour mark. I’m lacking in the networking department. I’m trying to find a part 135/91. Do you have any tips or tricks for someone in my position?

      Kinda of a tough spot to be in, there's a bunch of aviation pilot job posting websites, that usually charge a monthly subscription, that you could attempt to sign up for and look for something. Also like I said in the video, look at places similar to Ameriflight, companies that fly small cargo airplanes, might be able to find something there! Maybe even banner towing or aerial surveying.

    I am from the Caribbean and want to go to flight school in the USA how can I get into a flight school there?

    • @jaycay99
      @jaycay99  Месяц назад

      Honestly I'd have to look into that! But my best guess would be finding a school that'll provide you with a US student visa.

    How many years did it take you to get to the majors from ATP?

    • @jaycay99
      @jaycay99  Месяц назад +2

      I was hired at my first company Jet job at 19, got to the majors when I was 23. If it wasn't for age restrictions, I possibly could of done it slightly sooner, but not by much.
