Thank you Mike for the answer. Thank you also for being so transparent about your strategy and portfolio. My strategy is a bit different but that’s the beauty of the stock market! We can have different strategies that we are confortable with and both make money out of it 😊
For years I was buying stocks that payed a good dividend and instead of taking the money I did a DRIP with those stocks. Now the dividends are a major source of my income as I am now retired. I don’t like high paying dividends, just between 3 and 4%. Great video Mike.
@hiker8886, I agree. The dividend growth and payments generated are insidious and sneaky, until one day they are undeniably impressive. When the portfolio generates $32,000 per year and climbing (without chasing a high yield), you feel like you are definitely on the correct trajectory.
