#A6700 #APSC Наука
The most practical review of A6700 on RUclips hands down! Most people sit in front of another camera inside their studio and talk about it. Not very helpful. You were comprehensive. You didn’t just tell, you showed. Keep up the solid work. 👏🏼
You’re a wholesome dude, bro. Appreciate your energy. And tbh, the only thing that turned me off from previous a6000 bodies was the old menu system and lack of front dial. They fixed that, plus gave us soooo much more. This might be a home run.
Terrific review, Terry. You covered all the relevant information a hybrid user would need. I'm an A7IV video and stills shooter myself (1 for each), and don't need another camera. However - the compact size and lightness of the A6700 coupled with the 15mm f1.4 is so very tempting. That, and the much-reduced rolling shutter. You have me tempted my good man. Again, great video and much appreciated.
I’m not here to comment on the camera, I’ve already bought one. I’m here to comment on the overall vibe of this video.
You’ve got the community involved. The kids love ya. You’re walking down the street at sunset. You’re on your porch with your boy. You’ve got your friend in his bike, at the airport, banter with FX30 and A6700. You’re down at the beach. You’ve got the show blacks and body pumped. You’re covering every feature in the camera. All the info I need in the overlays. Good pacing with the editing.
And… you. You’re very watchable. I struggle with this camera review type format but you’ve solved it. You’re a natural and it’s clear you’re thriving in what you do.
A really really good video with great quality examples of stills and video footage. Totally answered all the questions I had and more.
That said, one question, can it record to SSD via the USBC?
From one video maker, to another… really good stuff. You smashed it.
Just upgraded to a 6700....your video popped up on my page....I watched it....and learned things I didn't know. More important....awesome effing review....you just earned yourself a new subscriber. Thank you
my dude! Thanks for using my two favorite lenses the 1655 and the OG50GM! That photo quality is ridiculous! Thanks for getting this out to us! Well done!
aaaannddd.... you snuck in the new 70200/4 in there... my man...
Amazing content , Terry! You have got me excited for this camera!
Great vid! Covered everything I wanted to know and put all the lens details as well 💪🙏
Sorry for the second comment, your stabilization demo was great as well. I have watched a lot of videos on the 6700 and so far you are providing the best real world footage. I think you are on the right track.
My 6700 is on order 🙂 You demonstrated the touch screen better than any other review I've seen. Nice bike!!!
It's dope that you got one bro! This video bang! LFG!
Really enjoyed your video and all the info about the 6700 you provided. Thank You.
You did your thang on this video brotha! And that bike was SICK!!!
Fantastic detail and analysis! I liked and subscribed. Love the meticulously, exacting, detail provided, @TerryWarfield !
💪🏾very informative vid as Usual 💪🏾 keep up the great work
i just got mine. i love the chunkyness of this camera, it feels really comfy and the new UI with touchscreen is just WOW! but there are so much more setting this time around im abit overwhelmed.
Terry, that was a fantastic presentation. Bruh you’re really good at this

Which lens do you recommend? Sony lenses are expensive so I want to start with one good all in one for the time being until I buy more
Nice vid thanks! Love the energy! Subbed.
Love your video!!! Thanks Terry!!! 😍 I just pre-ordered A6700.
Good to see you’re still making vids terry. I def want the a6700
Coming from the a6400 to complete like me t my A7IV
I appreciate the filming in the kitchen inspiring content creators to not feel limited because they don’t have a dope setup 👌
That’s great info packed lively presentation.
Terry great review, you covered a lot of material. nicely done.
Great video as always brother!
man I love your style! finally someone who talks and does some action rather that talk so much rubbish in a studio ! thank you bro
Thank you for the rolling shutter testing, very helpful.
Solid looking camera. Nice breakdown T!
Great review and very tempting. Thanks for sharing this 🙂👍
Yo bro!! thanks because your vid helps a lot, great review about the new release camera
That new touchscreen menu was the feature I didn't know I wanted so bad! And with all the new hardware and AI features, it's gonna be hard to tell the difference between what was shot on an APS-C or full-frame camera!
It’s always weird seeing that sony doesn’t have these features when lumix had these for years. I would switch to sony if the form factor was better.
According to my professional opinion that difference will absolutely not be found in the body except for DOF and slightly better iso perf.
It will be found in the lenses but since every singular so called reviewer on youtube uses high end FF glass on this small body, you know you`ll be cheated.
@@brugj03What would you recomend for someone trying to enter the professional audiovisual world? I want to use it for photo and video, I was going for the ZV E10 first but then I was almost set on investing a bit more on the camera body too for the weather proofing and the little extra quality but after your comment im wondering if I should just get the ZV E10 and get some really high quality lenses instead. Im pretty lost man this mirrorless world is gigantic!!
Thank you for your video. Very useful for my future purchase ..
Nicest video I've seen about the a6700 yet. Those motorbike shots looked great.
Great review. This just might be my next camera!
Excellent review. Subscribed to your channel too. Greetings from Norway!
really need to get this camera but I already have a7c and think enough to me. thank you to show your gear and video.
Awesome review. I had to subscribe. Salute
Instant subscribed, great review.
Epic lil cam by Sony! Thanks for the review
Excellent review. I’m tempted by this camera but waiting to see what A7Cii is like.
The Sony a7 IV has touch shutter as well. I assume the a7R V has the same option in the menu settings. I find recording in apsc crop mode on a7 IV rolling shutter is really good.
Which others have indicated. I think when recording interview style shooting in full frame is great but if you're going to record faster moving subjects, APSC crop mode is best to record in. I think most have been reviewing the A7 iv wrong. Just my opinion . I'm still learning things on the video side but I have noticed I'm not the only one who has noticed this and believes that certain modes are better for certain situations.
Great video, Terry!!
Thanks to you fam! I’m grabbing the 6700!
I don’t need it but someone out there does. Great video as always.
Man those photos are so goooooooood!!
The camera is dope…the review totally on-point…the images of that bike were spectacular. And I just can’t get over how good that auto-framing feature is. Will other cameras get it via firmware??? Nope…sadly (hope I’m wrong).
Terry you ain't gotta throw shade at the FX30 not having the view finder lmaooo... great review though!
Knew that going in
I've seen many reviews and wow, the smiles on their faces. Finally an aps-c camera that ROCKS. As an a6600 owner, I'm excited. This is a major step up to the point I no longer think of buying the FX-30 or even the ZV-E1. I like to shoot stills and this is the answer.
I have both zv-E1 and fx-30. Sorry but wouldn’t trade Zv-e1 for this. However. I can see getting this exchanging fx-30. But I like the hybrid cameras
This camera doesn't rock though. The AF performance may be it's single winning attribute but the Canon R7 and fujifilm x-S20 are arguably better and the fujifilm XH2 / XH2S trounce this. The XH2 can be bought at a similar price pre-owned it absolutley smashes this (minus the AF)
Love this review!
Dope channel bro!! 🫡
Greet video man thanks
Great review brother ✊
The a6700 is definitely an impressive camera. The fact that the a6700 provides cleaner footage at ISO 2500 - like the FX30 - is crazy. I think the a6700 would be great with my FX30. After watching your video, I might consider the a6700 as a second camera. (edited).
Touch screen shutter is amazing. The A5100 also has this feature.
Great review
Another great video Terry! I'm gonna try and convince my wife to let me upgrade from my A6100 to this haha. One question though. Does the FX30 Top handle work for this too?
Hi Terry! Thanks for your video! I enjoy your "realness" while explaining technical information. One question. I have the Sony A7iii and I need a second camera as a backup. Would you recommend this to the A7iii? The A7iv is a great camera, but $2500 is a high price for me at this time. Thanks!
Dope review.
surprisingly good review!
What a big jump! This would be a good time to upgrade!
Get this man his 100k already
Looks like a good upgrade from my 6400 instead of paying for the A7S3. I already have the canon R5 with a lot of glass so definitely a good upgrade. Mainly using it for vlogs and streaming nothing professional.
man i'm tired xD
btw great review!
Oh man. I was sold on the FX30 for a few weeks and even sold my old camera the ZVE10. But now I may go for the A6700….
ITS PERFECTION.
HOT DAYUMN TST reviewing the heat!!!
SHEEESH that thing looks like a powerhouse.
Thanks for mentioning the dual base iso piece. I was about to skip this camera if it didnt have dual base iso. Selling th fx30 for the 6700 due to the viewfinder
Some reviews fail to mention the mechanical shutter which makes it an instant win for me 😊😊😊
yes, it’s really important, i’m beginner and i just knew mechanical shutter after buying zv-e10 that has only electronic shutter only. At least it can replace my broken a5100. After using zv-e10 around 1 year, i knew i need EVF, and a better shutter. a6700 could be a good idea, but i think sony at the end of this year will release sony r10 mark 5, well i love zooming out for wildlife.
The amount of work this took!!!! 👌🔥🔥🔥Killer photos
Viewers will never understand the literal hours we put into filming and editing for this man! I appreciate that comment so much bro
@@TerryWarfield agreed
Thanks for sharing! Without overheating, A6700 could be a perfect APS-C camera at this price point.
Well done.
7:04. Love your review, but now I've got to go watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles, it's been a while.
Seems like an amazing camera! I just wish this camera had dual card slots 🤦🏾♂️
… great review, thx my friend! 👍🏻 It’s definitely the right APSC cam for me … 😉 …
excelent review
Fire ass review cuhz. Thats on the set
I'm upgrading from an a6400 so this is a no-brainer for me. I get to use all my Sigma lenses with it too. Instant purchase.
I like it but wish they could have improved on the EVF and 11 fps. Was eagerly anticipating this but may wait on the A7c II. Want to add a small 'fast' body to my kit.
This jawn cool foreal foreal
Good stuff. Super cute kids!
They’re putting consumers in a blender with this one !!
Can you save settings for video and photo separately using the memory recall?
just ound you, good video man, fallowed.
What's the best lens to match it with for gym content in your opinion?
I enjoy your energy man you are really dope. Now I have a question for you if money was no concern which one would you choose a7c2 or 6700 as a hybrid shooter. And by the way I am following you from Turkey 😊
Nice review
Need a comparison between this and s5ii
Nice, well rounded video on this one. Currently deciding whether to go with this or wait for the next version of the a7c.
The value of the option to wait a few months (~October) is $400-$600 IMHO.
@@bradl2636 yeah probably. I’m having a hard time deciding if I want a small full frame or some variety with apsc. I do miss my a6500 but will i constantly keep reaching for my a7rv? Looking for a solid second camera but this will no doubt save me some money for more lenses lol
@@kentao4 I'm more photographer than videographer. I also have a decent collection of vintage glass that I prefer to use on FF. I pre-ordered an A6700 but cancelled the order within 48 hours after thinking it over more and watching a lot of reviews.
@@bradl2636 so am I and all of my glass is relatively new from within the last 5 years or so. I’m thinking of a smaller body for travel. I love my a7rv and 24-70 combo but that’s and expensive piece of kit to be carrying around all the time. It’s also pretty sizeable.
I do want to do more video and crave a smaller kit to throw in a sling for regular carry.
I loved my a6500 but that was before I ever owned full frame. The 6700 has everything I’d need but will I regret not spending a bit more for ff? If so, how? Will I want/need the 16-55 2.8 lens for normal carry and size reduction? (These are the questions in my mind).
really good review - like your style of presenting all the features and functions - but the star wasn’t the a6700 but your daughter 😊
The the ONE!
Are you getting any IBIS corner wobbles with wide lenses? - I bought my X-S20 recently and the corner wobbling with IBIS is driving me crazy :(
Excellent review! I THINK ima hold on to my a6600 for as long as possible they should have added the fully articulating screen to the a6700 I'm waiting for the a7c II release I bet they add the articulating screen
What do you mean by "articulating screen"? Because the Sony A6700 has one.
@@danielerichfischer4634 the sony a7r V screen I meant
Great video! This seems like a better choice than the zve1 🤔 price wise at least!
ZVe1? hahaha check out canon R8 fullframe body..
@@myoti9831 I'm talking specifically about Sony cameras...
They did the price right finally.
I don't do video/promotions/etc...but I am happy with a pair of original A7c bodies...along with an even older A7s...Cheers
Is this best causal camera out? im looking for best causal dslr camera for photo and some video thanks 🙏
What is the right lens ( Home n video) for someone using this camera for leisure not necessarily professional work... house parties ,travels , photos
They making it hard for me to choose my next camera 😂 it’s either s5ii or this
I have an a6300. Im thinking of upgrading to the a6700, buying a new lens, or buying a 7III 7RIII or 7IV. I'm pretty undecided and am looking for advice. I dont shoot much video but the option is always nice. I shoot mostly travel photography. Landscape cityscape and daily life of locals. I like to have the entire image in focus. Bokah is not for me 95% of the time.
