Sark’s videos and especially his editing style were something I constantly looked forward to. I didn’t watch him until around 2015 or so but the small details like the zoom in effects or music combined with his humor just made each video a treat.

it’s so cool hearing youtubers around my age talk about how they had the same influences when they were younger as i had, just feels more human. i loved yogscast sips and sjin so much, their series was funnier than the main jaffa cake factory in my opinion. i miss those days

I will never forget the time I was scrolling through a Twitter search about “schlatt” to see what bullshit “he” was getting cancelled for and came across fanart of “schlatt” fucking some other dsmp person of whom I forgot the name of. Never been on Twitter since.
I appreciate how humble Schlatt is to be surprised at being considered a comfort creator, but real talk - back in the spring this year, I got real sick. I was afraid I had COVID-19, and I felt like genuine shit, but that week I spent waiting for my test results was way more manageable due to his videos. Prior to that, I’d only ever watched the Minecraft challenges with Wilbur Soot, but I gained a real appreciation for his content and his personality during that time. Schlatt, I hope you know that you remind people to laugh at dumb shit when it feels like everything else sucks; it’s a real gift, and I’d say that’s what makes you a real comfort creator.

You used the United States as an example of a bad democracy, however the USA is a constitutional republic not a democracy. The reason that the USA has become so divided is due to the people’s perception that a democracy is good. Democracy by itself is a bad thing, but when the Republican philosophy is added to it, it results in an efficient government that is for the people. I appreciate how humble Schlatt is to be surprised at being considered a comfort creator, but real talk - back in the spring this year, I got real sick. I was afraid I had COVID-19, and I felt like genuine shit, but that week I spent waiting for my test results was way more manageable due to his videos. Prior to that, I’d only ever watched the Minecraft challenges with Wilbur Soot, but I gained a real appreciation for his content and his personality during that time. Schlatt, I hope you know that you remind people to laugh at dumb shit when it feels like everything else sucks; it’s a real gift, and I’d say that’s what makes you a real comfort creator.
