      the face is so finicky, because if you misplace something by just a frigging millimeter, suddenly your brain is like "UNCANNY VALLEY!!!!"

    I need help on finding good references like you find for the videos. You always pull up a perfect reference for all these pictures lol

      My reference is either Google the image very specific like "short haired woman looking up" and you can choose more of that. My other option is to take a selfie either with the help of a tripod for proportion. I often use my lamp or flash light to shine light in parts I want to draw and make it black and white so I can see the shades and lights easily. And for color matching using real paint is knowing what basic colors are made like beige. White and black will be your best friend and understand "warm" or "cold" colors can help add into colors of your choice. For example, "the dark skin tone looks dead. Knowing that humans have blood and blood is red, add a tinge of red to make it look alive." Also having mirrors in front of you can be useful for reference for expression.

      @@Chainsmokers. I usually use Pinterest when finding a reference for like the overall photo but for these references like he pulls up on how to draw a nose etc those are really good references lol

    Господи сколько не смотрю его видео, всё не понимаю как у него выходят на столько прекрасно исправлять, да так красиво выходит
    (Ни в коем случае не пытаюсь оскорбить авторов работ, они в большинстве своём и без исправлений прекрасны)
    Но так шикарно дополняет их, нужными вещами. Вроде бы и знаю эти простые истины, но преминет их никак не получается
    Автор видео бесспорно гений, талантливый и упорный. Всех ему благ)

    I must say you got much better at art critiques, precisely because you keep the original drawing's elements while fixing or improving only the parts that don't work out, like anatomical mistakes. And of course, you explain why and how to fix those, which is always useful.

    Ok, so I see different TYPES of lighting. What are the official names of those lighting, and what ORDER do you usually apply them in when making something? Cause I think it'd be easier if I thought of every light type in steps.

      Yeah but that didn’t look natural. I’ve done the same thing. Covering the ear just to realized I was doing the hair wrong and now I have to draw an ear. Her head was tilted so the hair would not be covering the ear

      Yeah but it can kinda be one of those "only show one eye because I don't know how to make the other match" things.. even if that's not the case, when an artist completely hides one eye or one hand, it can give the viewer that impression (if it's not done right that is😅)

    My specialty is faces when it comes to drawing! Here is a couple tips! Use a protractor! You can use this to line up the degree and half point of the ruler to your midline! This keeps all the angles in place! Should I post a tutorial or live on how this works? This method improved my drawings exponentially!
