In the Superman game where Lois was asking for a first aid kit, she sounded like a cat meowing. She sounded so much like a cat meowing it attracted the attention of my cat.
This is a joke as old as the game itself. Just google image search re 6 logo and you'll see plenty of "interpretations." God knows what the logo's designer was thinking when they made it
Game Sack is my new addiction. The most refreshing content. Love the episodes with Dave and all of the ending skits. Hopefully he makes a cameo every now and again.
@SSj Crono the demo was movement in a basic environment and a video of a few locations. There's no evidence it was any more than that and the percentage you pulled out is just a meaningless number. 70 of what? Games aren't that clear cut when in development.
I miss those days. Gaming was so new and sure, looking back the games look like garbage, but I remember seeing Tekken and thinking “wow. This looks sooo good”
Dinosaur 🦖 Planet would have great as a late N64 game. Even though it performs and looks worse on that console it’s really compelling there. I agree it’s neat to see Fox 🦊 as a guest star.
I generally think Joe is right about Dinosaur planet, even the GameCube version would have held up better had they kept the name since it painted a very biased image of the game to have so very little to do with Starfox and it could have potentially benefited even more if the game became a fantasy crossover of other Nintendo characters. One thing for sure, the game would have played better if Fox kept the sword, him using a staff always felt very meh, and if we've learn anything from the Genesis version of Aladdin, people will tolerate annoying high difficulty and bad level design to hack things up with a sword XD
You got me Joe. I had to yell at my phone when you threw away 8meg Death duel. Cause that game actually rocks. But then you took it back and now i am happy. Because Game sack was doing end credit scene's way before Marvel because game Sack also rocks
You still keep finding these, it's crazy how many games we never even saw come to completion and yet wonder how since completed games aren't as good as since of the incomplete titles. 😂
What's interesting about this Dinosaur Planet proto, it's that, despite Fox replacing Sabre just before moving to the Gamecube, Sabre, however, it's still present in the build by input a gameshark code.
Speaking to your video game Superman concerns, I believe I saw an idea once for a game where Superman was invincible, but it was Metropolis itself that had a health meter.
In a lot of Rare games back then the team provided the voices. Like Chris Seavor who was one of the main people behind Conker's Bad Fur Day provided all but one of the male voices in that game.
Great episode and I can't believe that nearly complete version of that unreleased Superman PS1 game ended up recently in DeviantArt of all places. I hope several unreleased PS2 games be on the next Unreleased Games episode, since there were prototypes that got dumped recently - including games that never got released like 100 Bullets, Explosion Royale, Polaroid Pete (unreleased English version of Gekibo 2), Shaolin Streets and White Fear.
Imagine a FMV-Video-Video Game made today! That would be awesome...with incredible actors and a custom gun/rifle...storyline...I think it could be really special and a big hit today if done right. I have so many great ideas...
That Gameboy game is just Stunt Car Racer by the legendary Geoff Crammond...you should play it if you haven't, I'd go for the Amiga version, although there are many versions.
In recent history, Superman has been handicapped in pretty much every form of media. The general exception to that rule comes when he's facing an opponent who is as over powered as he is. You almost have to do this for story reasons, otherwise every Superman story is resolved in minutes without any real conflict.
The wireframe Trailblazers was by Argonaut who went on to develop the SuperFX chip and consequently Star Fox on the SNES. Maybe this caught Nintendo's eye?
Interesting about the N64 Viewpoint. The only one I played was the Neo Geo version (emulated). Great graphics & music but frustrating. Keep up to good work Joe! I’m impressed & grateful that you kept this channel going even without your partner in crime...
Now you're up to 5 in this series, you're gonna have to start thinking of subtitles instead of numbers. "Unreleased Games: Resurrection", "Unreleased Games: The Return", "Unreleased Games Unleashed"
The entire 32/64bit 3d catalogué should be in this episode, I mean episòooooøöõôóôœoode...... . The 2d graphics matching the books' artworks for the first time were/are awesome .
It is common for developers to attribute special commands such as wall clipping, super jump, fly-mode, etc, in joystick when they run your test builds. As the command itself is not a command to be used in the game, the super jump was on the START button for this reason (probably). It's like the debug mode of sonic games, when you press A, sonic turns in many sprites of the game.
Ole' Shiggy was actually jealous of what Rare was doing with Dinosaur Planet and forced it into becoming Starfox, a proper Nintendo property. This was not the first time he did this....
Any games that haven't been released that you think I should check out?
SegaSonic Bros
Thrill Kill. I bet you were glad to see it cancelled.
How about games that you feel should never have been released? I would like to see that.
Or how about that lost 2 Xbox games with The Big Comfy Couch and Power Rangers Legacy!
It is said Eternal Darkness for Gamecube was originally planned for N64. Perhaps the rom is posted somewhere. You know.
"Did you just say tits?"
Lmao.... Every damn time!!
In the Superman game where Lois was asking for a first aid kit, she sounded like a cat meowing. She sounded so much like a cat meowing it attracted the attention of my cat.
I just heard that. Dang dude. She’s a cat
Never a dull moment with Joe and Game Sack.
5:12 - I will never, ever get tired of this running gag.
Hell yes, my fave way to chill out in bed every other Saturday night.
Whatcha do in bed the other other Saturdays? ¬‿¬
Same here but it’s with a coffee on Sunday morning along with the Spawncast
@@sophiafortyfour great minds think alike lol. Have to do spawncast in the morning and gamestack before bed.
I knew there'd be comments on this post
My favorite way is with my girlfriend and or wife
Gotta love Miyamoto's T-shirt, looks 100% legit
Oh wow, I’m glad you pointed that out. I would’ve never noticed it lol.
Superman just busted me out of a cocoon. But he left without saying anything, so I guess I'll just die.
I read that as "Superman just busted me out of a racoon" That would be a much better game!
Wow I almost didn't catch that you changed Shigeru Miyamoto's shirt to a Genesis Does shirt, hahaha
I'll never see the 6 from 'Resident Evil 6' the same way ever again.
This is a joke as old as the game itself. Just google image search re 6 logo and you'll see plenty of "interpretations." God knows what the logo's designer was thinking when they made it
Yep, everyone and their mothers were poking fun at the 6 in the logo the moment the game was first announced.
Stop trying to grift, no one cares.
@@imagineneedinganalt4085 are you okay?
@SSj Crono wow, that's sad lol
Game Sack is my new addiction. The most refreshing content. Love the episodes with Dave and all of the ending skits. Hopefully he makes a cameo every now and again.
Welcome to the party. Grab a drink and a seat.

@@V0YAG3R relax buddy, there's room for everyone here
Thank you Joe for making Game Sack
Dinosaur Planet looked like it would have been thebest looking N64 game ever.
SSj Crono no
Sadly that title will have to go to Jet Force Gemini.
Lets hope the 64 DD version of Mother 3 gets leaked one of these days along with Conker's Twelve Tales.
Mother 64 is my #1 lost media holy grail
There's almost nothing of Mother 64, it was just those small sections made in a theoretical engine to display cutscenes. The game doesn't exist.
also shenmue on saturn is another holy grail
A playable beta version of Ocarina of Time would be super interesting as well. Especially for the those early builds.
@SSj Crono the demo was movement in a basic environment and a video of a few locations. There's no evidence it was any more than that and the percentage you pulled out is just a meaningless number. 70 of what? Games aren't that clear cut when in development.
The Sack is BACK, for another great episode!!
Aw yeah! I was just binging the Unreleased Games episodes! Can't wait to spend my 2am watching a brand new Game Sack episode & skit!
Incredible video. Thanks for suffering through the SuperMan games as much as you could. Nobody can blame you for eventually putting them down.
"FMV video.. that's redundant"
Well, we're leaving in a world of "DC comics" as "Detective Comics Comics" so it's fine
Or my favorite: ATM Machines
FPS Shooter.
PIN number
Leaked prototype of Dinosaur Planet?? Mind Blown!
Wow, I didn't know the Dinosaur Planet ROM had been found & released, too cool!
You literally missed being able to have Castlevania Resurrection in this video by mere days.
The champ of retro game shows
I remember actually looking forward to Virtua Hamster, back in the day. Loved the 32X and I was obsessed with polygons or anything "3D" at that time.
I miss those days. Gaming was so new and sure, looking back the games look like garbage, but I remember seeing Tekken and thinking “wow. This looks sooo good”

@@V0YAG3R No...what?
I just remembered that Megaman Legends 3 was going to be a thing on the 3ds.
Superman can carry an entire shopping center anywhere else he's into but video games.
Some of the hostages hollering in the Superman segment kept making me think my cat was trying to get my attention. x.x
Came to see Joe talk about unreleased games, stayed for the Titus jokes.
The comfiest channel on youtube!! I always look forward to a new episode of Game Sack! Thank you Joe for all your hardwork and dedication!
27:35 I like how Joe films himself removing the games from the shelf and reverts the scene so it seems like he put them on there perfectly
@@videostash413 I said I like it, not that I can't do it.
Your lack of interpretation capabilities is astonishing lol
I found that Golf Magazine game at a thrift store, still sealed, for $4. Still had the original price stickers on it, showing it originally cost $70.
Richard Gere's Virtual Gerbil is still an A+ joke, Joe.
I thought that was a cat meowing on that superman game
Great way to spend my coffee time on a chilly Sunday morning.
10:28 ah, there is nothing more calming than the sound of dog kicking at the morning. lovely.
Ahhh yes, Richard Gere’s Virtual Gerbil.
ANOTHER unreleased games video? Yes, please!
I knew this adventure wouldn't be ending anytime soon. Lead on, Joe!
"Royal Knight of the Lylat System!"
_I'm fucking DEAD._

Awesome video to watch while cooking on a Sunday afternoon!
Virtua Hamster was seriously my most anticipated 32X game, and this demo is pretty fun once you realize how the tunnel loops work.
The unreleased Dinosaur Planet and Superman PS1 games were really interesting.
Thanks, great history lesson . I remember seeing previews for some of these games in Nintendo power
Ha ha, the end skit really made me laugh at loud!!
In the meantime. Thank you for making Game Sack

Was expecting Green Dog to magically appear in the box
Fox McCloud should have been an unlockable character in Dinosaur Planet, nothing more.
I love this channel so much, right as I'm about to sleep after a hard night.
Viewpoint 64 has some nice classic rave beats to chill to.
Wow man I did not know Dinosaur planet was that far into production. I’ve never seen any of that gameplay

I think I saw early screen teasers of FreakBoy in Game Informer Magazine back in the day
i want to support you joe, i already have the dvds and both t shirts, do you think you'll release new merch?
"You play a a blue thing that's half freak, half boy." You're so helpful, Joe.
VirtuaHamster would have been cool if finished.
And Dinosaur Planet? Don't even get me started.
Speaking to your video game Superman concerns, I believe I saw an idea once for a game where Superman was invincible, but it was Metropolis itself that had a health meter.
I'd love to see unreleased and unfinished arcade games get picked up by new companies to finish the way clockwork aquario did
That skit had me rolling
Joe: I'm playing the Saturn version because it kicks a**!
PlayStation fans: SAY THAT AGAIN! I DARE YOU, I DOUBLE DARE YOU!
8-meg Death Duel, a true classic indeed
That 90s cop game looked like a blast.
Colliders looks like it could have at least been a mini game inside another game.
Very true!
while the game is flawed, crime patrol does look pretty good on saturn. That's some nice FMVVVVV action!
I remember when I thought the jokes on this channel made me groan with discomfort.
Now I chuckle out load at every damned one.
12:53 "That was a security guard that you shot"
Her face: "Luckily we don't have any body cam footage, whoot whoot"
Basically police in the 90s
What a wonderful thing to see waking up at 3:33 in the morning with a bowl of kush
Freak Boy: the disowned son of Plok and Rocket Robot on Wheels
The voice acting in that Dinosaur Planet dev build sounds like must've been people working at Rare, as a temp track.
In a lot of Rare games back then the team provided the voices. Like Chris Seavor who was one of the main people behind Conker's Bad Fur Day provided all but one of the male voices in that game.

That crime patrol game, official guide of most police departments on how to use a gun on people.
"Genesis does", indeed Miyamoto-san, it does.
