With the diesel dragster; I'd imagine the flames are just from the combustion chamber after the piston reaches BDC - there's so much fuel going into that cylinder that not all of it has finished burning after the exhaust valve opens.
Yeah that is what I assumed
Yes and you can see this easily on any engine running if you pull the exhaust manifold.
You will then have flames coming out of the exhaust, now boost up the performance, put a really short exhaust system on and I can clearly see how you can make that flame travel all the way down the pipe with a rich mixture.
That’s why it pops. Some of the combustion happens in the exhaust. Imagine being a car youtuber, and being this retarded
There also carbon deposits that will ignite similarly to that as they pop and burn off.
certified tech here. this sounds accurate enough
"Ah screw you Ferrari you bunch of idiots" Say in an Italian voice
Best line I've ever heard from an Italian Dad
I still don't understand why Ferrari was charged their tires so many times lol.
he isn’t wrong they’re fucking stupid
Mattia Binotto? More like "50,000 euros-dead or alive"
Ferruccio Lamborghini after Enzo Ferrari insulted him:
bruh ferrari and their garbage strats
Fun fact : the mega track has a raising suspension. You could drive it on a rough terrain. It was designed so buyers could compete in the Dakar race with it. It also has a rear view camera. Not to be modern but you couldn't see anything so it was necessary. Rear view camera were rare at the time. It was a really BIG car too.
I add this too :
10 have been produced. 1 is still on the road in Austria and 1 in Monaco. 2 are in the Aixam HQ. I don't know for others, but 1 is probably in Dubai
I mean it is by far wider than the Range Rover Sport in the video, and that's not a tiny car...
ALSO its powered by a Mercedes V12 and the tail lights seem to be from an Audi 80
It was a better and more usable Porsche 911 Dakar
1:35 The exhaust valves open faster that combustion can end, so the fire from combustion excapes to the exhaust pipes, or here - to the headers.
5:58 never in my life would I see a giant industrial mining machine drift so well.
They don't do mining. They're for construction.
Glad to see our cars in France are having some fun!
4:27 I agree with RUclips subtitles, that engine sound is pure music
*continue*
The guy who shot the footage at 9:49 must have some fond memories of his days at school
9:49 can we just take a moment to wonder how he came up with that name 😂
Immaturity..... definitely
This the best Weekly Dose of Automotive Stuff episode so far
6:45 that sound effect was needed for that tyre.
Original fart reverb leaked raw audio
10:58 that frame. I’m pretty sure that he shat himself 😂
I think that we can all assume that the Twingo 1 is the *best* car ever made.
Twingo might be the Best, but nothing can beat the Daewoo Matiz
@@moryak_ W
100% agreed
I own one. Can confirm. Am making a documentary on it.
If I can confirm as a twingo owner, they almost never die, and there always happy
3:45 *visits friends tea party in a T-55 tank* You're not yourself when you're hungry.
9:36 that maita is mad max ready, it only needs is a V8 engine!!!!
hehe
*maita*
2:08 That's an auto 300C being used in the Australian state of New South Wales.
Here in SA in the mid 2000's, we had manual Holden Commodore SS's running around as cop cars. Very nice
in vic we had ss's and xr6 turbos lol
2:05 Please don't forget the OGs, the Ford Falcon XR8 and the GOATED Holden Commodore SS.
11:31
Honestly, I can't blame the Italian dad. I'm not a Ferrari fan, hell last year was my first time watching F1, but even I was absolutely baffled at their strategies.
watch 2020, seb started on medium then10 laps on hard, rest on soft for 42laps... IN BARCELONA
6:57 when Gabriel Iglesias is late to his show
5:10
I know one case specifically where the vehicle was built around the engine. In the 80's-90's era, Yamaha designed the Virago. It was a 2-cylinder motorbike that ran beautifully, very smooth to ride, amazing engine. When the Virago line was retired and the V-Star line came in in the early 2000's, they used the same Virago engine and built the V-Star frame and chassis around the Virago motor. This means in order to change an oil filter on a V-Star, you have to pull a stupid amount of parts off you shouldn't need to pull on any bike, including exhaust. I know this because I have had to replace oil filters on them before.
2:52 car mighty face reveal
Netflix: Are you still watching?
Someone's daughter: 2:20
its funky how the idea of making cars around engines has actually existed for a while
mostly on old airplanes
10:45 i know whats wrong with it, aint go no gas in it
I love how RUclips gave me a context box for the video about global warming, literally that friend who don't get jokes and over explain everything
Miata: I’m so happy
Twingo: Almost dies of happy
4:00 this is the reason we love america
Perfect timing. I was junst bingeing your vids for the 20th time.
Also, thanks to you i am now looking for an NA Miata
good decision!
@@CarMighty the only problem is finding a good one for a reasonable price here in Germany 🥲
@@Birb_of_Judge I thought they were expensive in Norway. Apparently the ones in Germany are about 2000€ more

It's always a great day when you trick the algorithm into providing context for your controversial titles. :p
little fun fact about the twingo boat, or story i should say, somebody in my town had one for as long as i can remember going at the port and seeing it ( first time i was like 5 or smth), that guy was famous for getting stuck on the beach with it numerous times, because as he said "I can drive my car well enough, a boat attached to it isnt a problem !", he ended up scraping it when i was 8 or around that age, got stuck on a rock a pierced the haul too badly to repair it, the car got saved tho from what i remember xD
Welcome to France xD
2:32
guys:just a photo of a mountain
Girls:omg a new wallpaper
You know a car is good when the passenger smiles 7:24
About the diesel car shooting flames, I think the reason why it does that is because the exaust pipe is very short and the mixture might be too fuel rich, in term the deisel will still be burning by the time the piston starts moving into the contracted position opening the exaust valve causing flames to go down the exaust pipe, and there is also no catalizator built into the exaust pipe. Other than that I couldn't come up with any other explination
4:33 the subtitles is saying music
5:27 my lego cars be like

5:12 every automation car

10:58 when did go-pro have voice commands
1:54
well, in the USA, its hard to find a police car with anything less than a 300 horsepower V8
As a Geo Metro (Suzuki Swift) owner and fan, this hurts.
(3:42)
2:00 in Australia, NSW, We used to use Holden Commodores and Ford Falcons which either had V6s or V8s. Now all Ford Falcons have sadly been retired and most of the Holden V8 and V6 Commodores (but there are a few around). We now use V8 Chrysler 300 SRTs (sadly axed by GM 😒) and diesel BMW 5 Series. I believe in Victoria, there is a BMW M5 highway patrol car.
11:00 “GoPro turn off… go pro turn offf” 😂
at 4:43 i was blowing my nose and it sounded exactly like a car.
3:36
POV: You drove your father's car home at 200 km/h in a 50 km/h zone to run away from the police and the police inform the army.
when you start the video and see the climate change context, you know it will be a good video😂
2:39 rip the underside of everything there. Cheers to Hoping all is rustproofed.
2:10 those are the highway patrols in Australia. In NSW they use the Chryslers and BMW's. In the NT I think they use Kia stingers. Good luck outrunning those cars
0:37 when you add nitrous in a Civic
That crysler 300 clip is in Australia
3:36 "You're not you when you're hungry. Snickers Satisfies"
I love how RUclips had to add context in the form of the United Nations page for climate change.
puissant... c'est absolument incroyable!
11:30 Muye when he looses another race
the Chrysler 300 srt is a aussie wide cop car but the one in the vidio is the nsw police car
7:35 lights are from audi coupe (80) xD
My first thought when I saw this. :D
A wheel will wheel. Best Content!
2:05, in America, we’ve used v8s in patrol cars for decades, dodge chargers, ford crown Vic’s, ect
4:37 Imagine wakingbup to this and seeing it with those headlights
the happiest car is the boggle eyed sprite mg midget.
Uhm we do use 100% of our brain.
And manufacturers do often build their cars around the engine, which is why on alot of new cars you need to remove the engine to work on it
9:33 *me going to a track to get some practice in my new Honda*
*some dude with f1 car* yea I drive a Honda to
3:15 does he not have a mirror💀😀
2:10 yeah geuss having police cars with a v8 is cool and all but did you know that in the 70s the Dutch police (rijkspolitie) was driving around in porches? sadly that is no longer the case but they do drive variety of cars like golf gti`s and audi rs6
Don't the Arabs have Lamborghinis?
Thanks Google for giving me a description of climate change with this video. I didn't ask
12:04 IS THE BEST VIDEO
5:33 kfz sagt nein.
kfz says no
(note. the name of the credits is geerman and so it apears, that kfz doesnt say no)
11:31 MuYe in 40 jears
so true
1:30, diesel burns either from compression or extremely high temperatures. It’s not easy to get it to burn, but when it does start burning, you got one nasty bon fire
The black smoke you see from diesels, "rolling coal," is unburnt diesel, so if there is enough of it in a small compact area such as the outlet of these pipes, it is already under considerable heat and pressure, but there is simply no oxygen after the burn cycle within the pipes, so it can ignite once exiting the tube and reaching fresh air.
10:13 this is the peak of happiness having the peak of happiness, TWINGO!
8:20 my dads bottom after Taco Bell
Your new wheels and the new lights just look awsome! Good luck with your projekt. (Please make more Carhunts :) 👉👈)
I forgot how satisfying it is to watch tanks run over and destroy everything.
I love how the New South Wales highway patrol added the Chrysler 300 Hemi to their fleet. Every time I see one I get excited
1:46 Blud chewing through his tires faster than Gordon Ramsay with his mental pills.

If u didn't see it said penisbutt
10:04 sounds like top gear to me
I think I remember seeing tanks in Snickers adverts.
I also remember seeing Mr. T. :)
Nice vids man keep it up
0:42 Turbojet engine sounds... Its ready for takeoff XD
0:42 everyone gangsta until ur car sounds like an M1 Abrams
I heard that reverb fart for that over inflated tire
Most high powered diesel drag cars are nitrous assisted through out there run, flames at the start are from them bumping the nitrous to raise the boost quicker for the launch 🙂
The abreviation for the Floattruck 💀
i like that there is context for what global warning is, i think the understand by what "boosts global warning" by seeing a jet turbo.
6:56 For 300 horses that was disappointingly slow.
2:25
now, imagine doing the same thing but with a piece of construction equiptment and a overpass bridge
fun fact: if you see a sign next to a overpass or on the overpass that states the height of said bridge, theres a good reason, its for semi trucks, obviously they are much, much larger than regular vehicles, or if you see a pickup truck with a sign on it saying "oversized load" and a stick/pole coming out of it, the pole is to make sure that theres enough space for the oversized load to go under a overpass,
the ostrich race reminds me of people doing chariot races with motorcycles
not joking, chariot racing with motorcycles exist, and its as dumb as you think it is
Its less dumb than actually racing real life animals. I worked in dog sled racing. Animal racing is cruel. Race cars, not critters.
@@doggodoggo3000 that wasnt the point?
i get what you mean, yeah animal racing tends to be cruel as fuck but i was refering to the execution being a tad silly, as in "who came up with this idea in the first place?" kinds of dumb/silly
1:41 disel limitators are made by interrupting the ijection instead of interrupting spark, by that when the injection starts again the exhaust valve is open causing the combustion in the exhaust and making flames. My scooter have injection problem and when the gas finish in the carburator and suddently returns it pop flames. It's the same concept
The flames from the diesel are from the propane injection. High horsepower diesels use propane the same way gasoline engines use NOS.
0:33 Colin Furze has several videos where he makes a turbojet engine using a car turbocharger. It's surprisingly easy.
8:56 Hand cancer here we commmeee
