Thank you for sharing. I grew lavender my first time this year. I did not realize how big and fast they grow. I got all picked. I did not think to put it in my sugar for a couple months before I make my sugar scrub. So thinks for the tip. I just love all your videos. Thank you
Thanks Brandi!! You only need to put it in for a couple of weeks to make lavender sugar. I just got busy and it kept sitting, Which is no problem. You might add a splash or two of liquid coconut oil in as well so it's a little softer. With the weather cooler, it is a little bit hard to get out of the jar. lol. But still quite nice to use. Aren't they wonderful to grow? I want to make another batch of lavender sugar and use it in a cupcake recipe next!
It's packaged with that information in the store, Sheryl. It's not critical to use organic, but it's nice if you can find in your store. With the price of everything now, I've gone to using regular granulated sugar. I hope that helps!
@@sherylbrandon5947 Especially these days!! I understand there is an anticipated sugar shortage, so if you can stock a little ahead, I would recommend doing so.
I was looking for scrub tutorials & came across this fantastic unintentional ASMR! Scrub looks so luxurious too 😍!!
It really is the nicest scrub. Though kind of messy if you use it in the shower.
