I received one of these as a test unit, and put it through its paces one season. I had a garden space that had not been worked in years - heavy clay, overgrown with weeds. This tiller cut through all of it and cleared enough space for a small vegetable garden. This year, I was more ambitious - tilled under several hundred square feet of garden area. For the first time in years, the soil is loose and workable, drains nicely after rainstorms and the weeds are under control! I might get really ambitious this fall and redo my front border. I should add that I'm a retiree with limited upper body strength, and even I can handle the thing when it's going. Nice machine for larger gardens.

Bought one of these, was a bit worried the engine wasn't big enough... it does a great job. Used it 3 weeks ago at the start with all blades and widest setup in the existing 4 foot wide beds and the middle width for the narrow beds, it gets in deep like the video, made a new bed (clay with stones/cobbles), the motor is small enough that it will stall if you hit a big rock (not tine damage) not abuse, but I did buy it to do actual work, and you WILL hit rocks.
Yesterday I removed the outer guards and just used the 2 tines to dig in some manure and compost etc, did a great job.
Now I have to say, I am a fairly big guy and was able to drag the machine backwards along the middle of the beds so I didnt leave any compressed foot prints.
Caution: I also used it without the drag bar with the 2 tines, however, If you are a smaller person don't do it, this machine can pull you along suddenly if it finds a hard spot.
I really like this machine and for those who say it won't start the next season, it's most likely moisture in the fuel from condensation (same wih mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters etc)

2nd year, worked in the same garden mentioned in the first comment, plus have a potato patch now too. Also used with 2 tines to cut a drainage channel to redivert rainy season water. Still very impressed with this machine.

Well, I wish I’d read this earlier. My husband and son have both tried and failed to get this started. Hope it is still under warranty.

I had to drain out old gas, but it starts right up. I have used it for 3 years now.
