Mine just quit on me after 3 years. This is of great help. I ordered a kit with brand new carburator, hoses and bulbs from amazon for like 15 bucks. And some air filters for cheap too. I will start with the sparkplug first and see how it goes.
I am having the same problem - it’s only 2 years old - good spark - fresh fuel- good compression - changed the plug - primer bulb purges fuel - put fuel in the cylinder - - - still won’t start - maybe the flywheel slipped ?
So, after new carb, hoses, new plug, crankshaft flywheel is good, getting good spark, and still no go. Seems like its not getting fuel because spark plug is always dry. What else could be wrong? Is it possible to get a faulty new carburetor?
@@lmsmallenginerepair4471 I did take muffler off and sprayed carb cleaner in it. But didn’t try starting with the muffler off or loose. Just did a compression check. Its 90 lbs.
I'm kinda in the same boat. I replaced all of that stuff. It fired up once, but can't get it to start again so that I can tune the carb & adjust the cable

I’m having the same experience. New carb, fuel lines, spark plug. Got it to start once with carb cleaner in the cylinder. Can’t get it to fire again.

take off muffler and try it, and look at piston

they need over 100lb. when the piston goes down it sucks fuel/air mixture into cylinder
You didn't mention replacing the fuel filter inside the tank. Does fuel flow easily into the primer bulb?
I have done all of that and still no start. Bypass switch, tired of pulling rope so using g drill. No start. Great spark coming from plug. I'm stuck.
