    Hi the information is very useful. However I can't see any Essex designed ap racing kit for Volvo. I am driving a 2016 Volvo v40 t5 with 245 hp and 350Nm. Originally fitted with 320mm rotor, planning to upgrade to 4 pot ap racing 9200 with 330mm rotor. I am very concern on the brake bias on the front after watching your video. DO U think upgrading to cp9200 with caused significant brake bias?

    Iv got Audi Q7 6 pot callipers and mtech front discs 350mm and worped 2 sets...iv heard EBC are good (in my budget) I’ll not have the money to be shopping at your place lol but would you say I’d be ok with EBC front discs Witt my 6 pot callipers?

      Hi Tony, We have never tested EBC discs, so we really can't comment on their quality, durability, etc. Your best bet on those is going to be to check the message forums for other owners' experience with them...preferably on a car similar to your own. If you are just looking for a standard OEM-style replacement disc at a reasonable price, Centric discs are a good option. For the 2007-2015 Audi Q7, the front part number would be 12x.33090 (left) and 12x.33091 (right). Tire Rack is a good source for those: www.tirerack.com/brakes/results.jsp?autoMake=Audi&autoModel=Q7+3.0T&autoYear=2013&autoModClar=Premium
      If you needed pads as well, this is a great option:

    Hi, how to know if that AP 5000R is original or not?

    • @essexpartsservicesbrakeexperts
      @essexpartsservicesbrakeexperts  6 лет назад +3

      There is a QR code on every Pro5000R caliper body that can be scanned. In the box with the Pro5000R calipers, there is a small sheet of paper with registration instructions for completing the caliper regristration process. You can also see details on their website here: www.apracing.com/app-privacy.aspx
      Hopefully that helps. Thanks!

    How about the caliper brackets? dont you want to manually drill the brackets?

    • @essexpartsservicesbrakeexperts
      @essexpartsservicesbrakeexperts  6 лет назад +2

      The mounting bolt spacing on the AP Racing calipers is different from the factory in nearly all cases. As such, we include a custom caliper bracket with all of our kits. Our brackets are a precise custom fit for each application. Nearly all of them are made from billet aluminum and hard anodized. In a few rare cases when necessary, we use steel. We don't provide a generic bracket with shims, and there isn't any drilling involved with our system. You pull the original calipers off, and bolt ours on. Thanks!
