It’s typical in the horticulture and agriculture worlds to not be able to harvest seeds to grow another plant. It’s how the seed companies make their money from growers. Same with apples, roses, etc.
Clone them. Take a small cutting, dip in rooting hormone or aloe vera, and stick the cutting in your medium. In a few days, you will have roots and bingo, a genetic clone of the mother without seed.
i dont like seeing folks who aren't passionate about the plant growing it, hemp or cannabis. im 46 and got a felony for growing and i love everything about the plant and the process of cultivation. i still cannot grow legally.

Part of your IPM strategy might include a grass mover mulch harvester.... that loose, cut grass can be the source of disease development in consistent, humid weather. Septoria loves any moisture hanging around...... your placement out in the field is ideal..... the further from any trees and forest the better.......

Water kills pollen. Spraying daily wk 3-5 could help stop the pollination. I breed in my backyard and it doesn’t spread to other plants unless they are close.

Monsanto has nothing to do with it. Its about proprietary genetics. When you have 2 inbred parent lines of genetics and breed them together to make an F1 hybrid that cross is patented and sold to farmers. It happens with all plants. Universities partner with breeders to develop new strains to bring to market from hemp to tomatoes to mellons. Its all natural.

Assuming the company involved is claiming a patent on the variety. Cannabis as far as I know doesn't come true to seed, so your actually getting a slightly different strain every year and the plants you grow from seed will be different again so no patent could be enforced. What they would do if it was 'their' variety, is sell you cutting grown plants or charge you a royalty fee for every cutting you took, wether it grew or not
