I have said this for a long time and totally agree. This plant has so many great uses. The clothing can last for up to 80 years. Sad we have become such a wasteful world.
The funny thing is it's not just this video about hemp's amazing uses. So many problems or challenges we face are solved through available and developing technologies. Food production through vertical farming and regenerative ag, clean or lab-grown meat, housing through automation/3D printing technologies, clean and abundant water through desalination plants, clean and renewable energy through geothermal, hydro, solar and wind. And on and on it would go. Right now the problem isn't what can be done, it's the socio-economic factors that slow it down and prevent it from happening sooner. We're struggling in a system that isn't sustainable or healthy, yet we keep trying to solve problems with a system that is unable to solve certain problems because of its incentives and structure. It's time to transition away from what may have served us at a time before the technological revolution, but now is just holding us back. There is no real change without system change.
It's no wonder this plant illegal - Oil tycoons need to make billions to power there mega-yachts and pharmaceutical companies need to keep everyone sick to make more profit. It allows younger healthier trees to get sunlight and grow. Clear cutting forests are a thing of the past. You need to get up to speed on logging these days.

Would rather avoid the chemical dependency, drugs are for the weak.
@@familiayoutuber4769 You're weak for posting such a worthless comment, Mr. Ignoramus. Drugs have a purpose, but I guess if you go to the hospital you won't need use any.
@@HollisPresnellWhat purpose do drugs have apart from providing a temporary surge of pleasure? Even if it were so almighty to be able to cure mental illnesses, drugs don't heal physical wounds as medicine does.
And Henry Ford made a hem oil motor. This country was solvent. We didn’t owe any debt.
Wow. We need to be growing way more of this stuff 😮
The dislikes are from the people that want to keep this miracle plant suppressed.
"Why don't you tear down your stuffy drapes, and let in a mad, sweet surge of joy?"
Awesome and tanks to talk about it,... nicely done and well explained 👏 👍 😀
Amazing video. I learned alot! Thank you.
Really well done! Thanks for such a good presentation of this important info.
William Hearst is to take partial blame for it. He’s the one who had to convince Congress that marijuana is a dangerous plant, and did this for his own selfish reason: to save his paper company
Awesome video!
Second thought and OCC uploads keep me going.
How can People dislike this, must be stick in denial... Smh
Feels like we're in the darkest timeline of the tv show, where the bad guys won..
a bit dissociative to see the world as a tv show... you are literally starting to compare simulation to reality, when it used to go the other way around. So your basis is already in simulation.

Cannabis prohibition was one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century.
Million alcoholic, cigarette deaths a year not a single death from marijuana ever.
Thanks for the good news in these dark times.
Marijuana enthusiast have been saying this for decades.... finally we're "listening" to science lol
endocannabinoid system was found while doing cannabis research ... largest physiological system in man, in all chordate life etc... not taught even in our medical schools !
I'm not going over to nebula when I already seen the most of the video here. I wish you mention that there's an extended version on nebula in the beginning, so I can switch early.

Interesting but I’m worried we’re just swapping one monoculture crop with another.
You're probably right

I am kinda *sus* if plants would be able to withstand all the effects
We need Amogus plants to stop sus
Plants are great accumulators. So to be able to draw pollution up out of soil even if the plant dies, it's more effective and cheaper to do than collecting processing and replacing soils
Plants are the most horrific life forms in the world. The weirdest animal and most resilient pales to fungi and plants

You should do a video about bamboo
I really like bamboo. I have no expertise. In the fifties and early sixties carpet rolls used bamboo stiffeners. One industries trash was this child's toy box.
Good for clothes! I hate how clothes are now all polyester and acrylics, it’s so uncomfortable and stuffy, worse of all gives me static during winter
