One of the best amps I've every played. Had it about a year and it's killer. For even more diversity, run it thru on old 50's inefficient Jensen 10" speaker and you go into even another spectrum -- early james gang sound. Just so much variety available with this amp. -- Gator
Depends on your house. Give you an idea I had it cranked at Guitar Center in he demo room and they came and told me to turn it down. IMO Class A is always louder than A/B amps. But its not the loud that gets you its the sonic impact of the 6973 tubes much louder than EL84/34s in detail. Not projection if that helps.
will this amp be able to keep a decent clean tone with a band? i heard it in a store and im in love with it. only thing is that im afraid ill get drowned out with a loud band... is 25 watts class a enough for dirt and clean??
It's rated 25 watts, but really actually about 17 watts. It is definitely loud enough, but it's close on clean headroom. However, unlike some amps of similar wattage, it cleans up really well with your volume control, even cranked in parallel. But, if you have high output humbuckers, like 10k and up, you probably won't get a really loud clean tone, but slightly into breakup rolling back the volume.
I think you might be confusing amp classes and a "single ended" or "push pull". You can have push pull class As, dual single ended, etc... It can get murky drifting from the typical Fender and Marshall designs we're all used to. www.aikenamps.com/index.php/what-do-the-terms-push-pull-and-single-ended-mean
I just bought one 4 days ago. I LOVE this amp!!
Still have it? How do you feel about it today?
LOL I bought a comet and almost immediately regret it, but I have to try one.
yo how loud is it like can u crank it up in a house?
That was extremely entertaining. Thanks Mike.
Great amp and playing!

Ok the SG combo sold me.
If I hadn't just bought one of these last night, I would have after watching this. Great playing, awesome video.
That was a cool little rendition of three little birds you did there!
Sounds awesome
lovely sound
Excellent video and overall demo of this amp!
Such a bad-ass amp!... Great demo!..
Great stuff Mike!! Sounds killer!
Wicked playing, Mike. Sexy amp, too!
How does that new Suhr Tele compare to your other Tele's?
1:36 nice!!
Amazing amp but as a warning; you can’t get clean tones out of it with humbuckers at usable volumes
It's cleans with guitar rolled off when dimed are super sparkly. Much brighter and louder cleans than low volume because of no bright cap.
Solid
The first song...what is that?
I dont know!
************** brilliant. Appreciated. I am gonna get one.
Yeah. Yeah!!!!!!!!
Is this amp to loud for home use?

Deluxe Reverbs regularly appear on bandstands the world over. DR's are 22 watts...
