Mary berry's retro cooking programmes really do relax me .so soothing the way she spoken .
Great tele from the years gone by...!!! 📺 😁 👍
THANKYOU! Always keep my eye out for new retro Mary Berry videos. Love them
Jess not sure how old you are but have you seen Fanny Craddick at all?? Lol she was evil..lol
On my goodness thank you for sharing this the old fashioned ways are the best by this a mean not ppl being old but all these new fancy things make it so difficult and these ways are simple back to the 70s 80s x
Free wax paper from the cornflakes - talk about reuse. That’s brilliant.
It's plastic nowadays they use.
Speak for yourself....
And now you can make toffee onions and toffee Brussel sprouts.
An old-fashioned tablespoon! I knew they had changed a tablespoon for a dessertspoon. A tablespoon was a serving spoon which is way more than 15ml. Also cornflakes come in a plastic bag nowadays.
Thanks! I missed this series.
Toffee apples are lovely, real fairground treats!! I love them, but being menopausal now, I would have to be careful I don’t break my teeth when eating them, my teeth are brittle now.
Awesome
hi im ur biggest fan!!!
Mary Berry must have fingers made of Asbestos, tapping that pan of boiling hot caramel.
Toffee aways broke my teeth when I was young, now I know why. I could go a chocolate crispy apple about now though.
I wonder if Mary had soggy bottoms in the 70’s
Is it me or have the set dressers painted a backdrop either side of the dresser behind Mary?
I hope mine turn out like Fannies
X looking like fannies
@TheRenaissanceman65 There was a cooking show with Fanny Craddock many years ago and her husband said 'I hope all of your donuts turn out looking like fannies'... but yes, he meant 'fanny's'. And in the UK fanny is just a hilarious thing for a donut to turn out looking like.
@TheRenaissanceman65 ok - no need to get your knickers in a twist. Just thought you might like to know. Sorry for bothering you.
Can someone please tell me what “golden syrup” is?
If you're in the states, then it's kind of like kyro corn syrup . Not sure if I spelled that correctly 🤔
Mary is much happier and more natural without Judith there. 🤔
Wonderful ..Mary before she was seduced by the ice blue eyed Scouse ( well Wirral;) silver fox ! ( Paul Hollywood;) lol
How bout them apples
