  • Jordan Peterson's advice to men has always been impactful, but this might be his most important quote yet.
"Those who have swords and know how to use them, but keep them sheathed, will inherit the world."
In this video, we unpack the deeper meaning of this statement. It’s not about promoting aggression-it's about harnessing the raw power within, embracing strength, and learning to control it. Masculinity isn't toxic; it's essential when rooted in protection, provision, and empowerment.
Join me as we explore why the world desperately needs strong, good men who know when to stand up and fight against injustice. Discover how to awaken your inner strength, live with purpose, and lead with controlled power.
💬 Join the conversation: What does "be a monster and learn to control it" mean to you?
    👊 Let’s redefine masculinity together.

Hey, thanks for sharing this Andrew, I had missed this one.
Yes a fantastic quote from Peterson highlighting man's need for strong masculinity and for the meekness to wield it!
Certainly points out aspects of my life that are in need of such growth.
We are blessed to have Jordan Peterson on the team!

Similarly I once heard him say you can’t be a ‘gentleman’ unless you have power to reign in and make being gentle something you choose to do through restraint

Ah, yes. That’s also a great quote! Thanks for adding it to the comments.

I don't have any family ( passed on ) and I have only a few friends. My fight for justice spans 30 years., but nobody cares about my achievements.

Hold those friends close. Having a few is a gift worth savouring . . .

I only think it is the other way around, and that you should learn to be a master of self control, then develop strength and capability to do things, and then when you have your power, use it well. When most people get power, they tend to easily let ego corrupt them and use it to do evil. If you don't let that happen you can use your strength to bring about a lot of good in the world.

Adhering to mainstream values and morals is slave morality. You need to have the will to power.

He is more and more extreme and stupid as he get older. He didn't meant anything, just wanted to trigger people. Bad press is still a press.

There is zero evidence that JP is stupid. You’re entitled to disagree with his viewpoint, but the claim that he grows more and more stupid is unsubstantiated nonsense . . .
