  • Overflow from the lowest floor.
I think this is a problem only in our country.
    We have no backflow valves.
    There are many other problems.
It is a holiday in Korea from next week.
I hope you have a great time, too.

I enjoy your explanations a lot. Happy Lunar New Year to you also. Blocked drain is an understatement, that was the most full drain I have seen.

I would put a on 45 or a 90 angled down before running the jetter. If you really want to be clean, you can make a tube out of plastic film (like visqueen here in the US) to lead down to the ground. Duct tape it to the drain line and, just like that, you've contained 99% of the spray.

Great video as always. If in your kitchen you frequently fry food an alternative to dump oil in the drain should seriously considered. In general removing food residuals from your dishes before put them in the sink helps a lot

Jetting the pipes in the garage area, the nasty water is spraying on the ceiling tiles. When the put the tiles back up, there will be a mold problem. Yuck. Should have used a plastic bag.

In the UK and Australia the problem is wet wipes clogging the sewers and drains.

🇳🇱Great job well done how long does it stay clean is the question actually you should have a grease separator in every kitchen Greetings from Roosendaal Netherlands Hans and good luck with your grease problem.👍👍👍👍👍🍀

What a mess..looks like a lot of damage there…. I understand that trying to put grease in jars or cans and not down the drain isn’t widely done in Korea…but all this damage should get folks to try to do something different.

Yes unfortunately because of your food preparation process so much fat and grease goes to drain..and over time will always block..I'm surprised on high rise tenements that each property doesn't have a grease trap to enable the removal before entering the main waste system..

Why didn't use plastic cover when preasure cleaning on ceiling pipe? It's so messy 😅

Along with the top most floor, the lower floor is usually the most desired. But if I knew that the lower floor will be the first to flood every time the pipes get blocked, I'd settle for a middle floor.

@@chad6080 it shouldnt freeze (if installed correctly with a pitch) cause its empty. Drain pipes are never full of water and its running water.

@@lincolngardens661 pipes clog at any time.. best to be prepared. Korean winter may be harsh... they are close to Russia after all.. even flowing water can freeze.
