More often than not, Broadway understudies are a production's saving grace. But those brave actors have a tough job, and sometimes things don't go as planned. ''Disaster'' creator/star Seth Rudetsky remembers one such event that occurred when Megan Mullally took a day off from the 1994 revival of ''Grease'' and her temporary replacement made a prop goof that not even Rosie O'Donnell could cover up.
