Watching Rosie pretend to be attracted to Tom Cruise is so sad. But we live in better times now.

I believe she means it as if she was heterosexual... and come on, Tom is kinda in the gray zone 😏

People are more complex than you are giving them credit. I believe Sexuality is a spectrum with few absolutes.

Attraction does not equate with sexual preferance.

I think it's quite clear that she was feigning being attracted to him as a heterosexual woman. And being 'attracted to' someone, as she was quite clearly suggesting she with her behaviour, rather than simply observing that they are attractive, definitely does imply sexual preferance. Yes we are now far more clued up and accepting of sexuality being much more of a spectrum that a few black and white categories, of course - and that's very much part of my original point! But Rosie has been an outspoken and proud lesbian for dacades since this, and never discussed her sexuality as anything other than that, so I dont think when we see an old clip of her feigning sexual attraction to a man it is to much of a stretch to give us cause to say 'that was weird, thank goodness societal attitudes have changed and she would no longer feel obligated to fawn over him by pretending to find him attractive.' But I'm glad my brief comment has at least stimulated some discussion 🤣
