Only women can give birth, and since these males hate life so much, they hate women. Not to mention the infrastructure that was built with US tax dollars they now have a tighter grip on the country because of the infrastructure built makes it easier to get around the country which previously they couldn’t before 9/11 since there was no infrastructure that’s why it was easy to kick them out.
And this is why the Taliban regime should never be recognized.

This is one of the worst examples of the damage religious beliefs can cause.
While this may raise concerns among Americans that Taliban are treating women this way, it is not our concern when human and women's rights are violated in the US everyday. Americans also need to bring into the conversation in the UN how native American women and indigenous people in the US have been imprisoned in reservations designed to bring psychological and physiological harm. In addition, minority women do not have full reproductive rights and health care. First, US needs to fix its own home before we criticize the way of life in other nations and cultures. That is their culture. From Western and modern perspective, it may be wrong and inhumane, but this has been their cultural way of life.
But here's the thing: once the Muslims quickly become even a small majority because of the vast number of children they spawn, they start to enact sharia law. That means that the women you know have to put a bag over their head and lose their freedoms and rights. It also means that it's OK to kidnap little girls and force them to marry adult men. It also means it's OK to murder people of other religions. This is what Muslims are doing in the countries where they have the majority.
So it is important to recognize this because we can't allow that to happen here. Yes, we have problems, but if that were to happen here, or other problems with pale in comparison. And don't tell me it's only the extremists that do this. They do it in pretty much all the Muslim countries. This is what Muslims do.

The Taliban's fascistic ideology didn't even exist in the sixteenth century. Back then Afghanistan was split between the Safavid Persian Empire, the Mughal Empire, and the Khanate of Bukhara. In most regards life in Afghanistan was a lot better back then than it is today under the Taliban. Aside from the Mongol conquest, there really hasn't been a worse time to live in Afghanistan's history than under Taliban rule.

I think you misunderstand the point/goal of a protest. The point is to demand something of your own government. The US isn’t responsible for the Taliban’s laws. As horrific as they are, there’s nothing we can do about it, unless we go in and intervene again, which we already did to disasterous results.
The reason people protest the genocide in Gaza is because our government is funding it and sending arms. That’s the only reason we protest it - it’s something we can actually affect. If this country responded to the protests and stopped sending weapons, then the purpose of the protest would cease to exist. No one would protest. Even if the genocide kept going, there’d be nothing for us to protest, because the situation would be out of our hands at that point.

Honestly, as a Muslim in America (Egyptian ethnicity) this is a side of Islam I have never ever ever been exposed to. This breaks my heart, why didn’t I know about this?
My parents never taught me those things, they only taught me that there is 1 God, that we pray 5 times a day, we fast in Ramadan and all of the stories of the prophets. (Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad, all of them). My parents never forced hijab on me, my mom just said it was my choice. I wasn’t prohibited from speaking, singing, listening to music. There was an emphasis on my virginity and saving myself. all of my friends were Christians or Jews and atheists, i even had transgender and gay friends.
My dad always wore his American flag pin on his suits and he taught me American patriotism 😢 I love this country so much. And my heart is true in faith to my Lord.
I’m really grateful to be in this country, I had no idea it was like this overseas. This is not the Islam my parents taught me and it’s not the Islam that I read in the Quran.
This makes me so sad, I always wondered why I sometimes face discrimination and hatred towards my religion, and I would defend it.
But I see that the way it’s being practiced in places like Afghanistan is extremely oppressive, how can anyone reach inner truth and peace and ultimate connection with God if they are forcing all of these things on the people?
The Quran is clear, there is no compulsion in religion. I just don’t understand why they are doing this.
This really breaks my heart. Thank you to all of the Americans that are pouring support for the women in Afghanistan and for their rights.

It would not matter if the Taliban were in control or not. The men of Afghanistan prefer women be treated this way. That's why there will NEVER be a fight for women's rights in any Islamic country. Some Islamic countries are more lenient regarding women's rights, but women are always still treated as second class citizens.
