Americans also need to bring into the conversation in the UN how native American women and indigenous people in the US have been imprisoned in reservations designed to bring psychological and physiological harm. I think you misunderstand the point/goal of a protest. The point is to demand something of your own government. The US isn’t responsible for the Taliban’s laws. As horrific as they are, there’s nothing we can do about it, unless we go in and intervene again, which we already did to disasterous results. The reason people protest the genocide in Gaza is because our government is funding it and sending arms. That’s the only reason we protest it - it’s something we can actually affect. If this country responded to the protests and stopped sending weapons, then the purpose of the protest would cease to exist. No one would protest. Even if the genocide kept going, there’d be nothing for us to protest, because the situation would be out of our hands at that point.

The Taliban's fascistic ideology didn't even exist in the sixteenth century. Back then Afghanistan was split between the Safavid Persian Empire, the Mughal Empire, and the Khanate of Bukhara. In most regards life in Afghanistan was a lot better back then than it is today under the Taliban. Aside from the Mongol conquest, there really hasn't been a worse time to live in Afghanistan's history than under Taliban rule.

I worked in a corporate run by women. One of the bosses used to screw her married subordinates. Another liked shout at subordinates including girl interns and treating them like crap which made the poor girls teary and depressed. Americans also need to bring into the conversation in the UN how native American women and indigenous people in the US have been imprisoned in reservations designed to bring psychological and physiological harm. In addition, minority women do not have full reproductive rights and health care. First, US needs to fix its own home before we criticize the way of life in other nations and cultures. That is their culture. From Western and modern perspective, it may be wrong and inhumane, but this has been their cultural way of life.
But here's the thing: once the Muslims quickly become even a small majority because of the vast number of children they spawn, they start to enact sharia law. That means that the women you know have to put a bag over their head and lose their freedoms and rights. It also means that it's OK to kidnap little girls and force them to marry adult men. It also means it's OK to murder people of other religions. This is what Muslims are doing in the countries where they have the majority.

I think you misunderstand the point/goal of a protest. The point is to demand something of your own government. The US isn’t responsible for the Taliban’s laws. As horrific as they are, there’s nothing we can do about it, unless we go in and intervene again, which we already did to disasterous results.
The reason people protest the genocide in Gaza is because our government is funding it and sending arms. That’s the only reason we protest it - it’s something we can actually affect. If this country responded to the protests and stopped sending weapons, then the purpose of the protest would cease to exist. No one would protest. Even if the genocide kept going, there’d be nothing for us to protest, because the situation would be out of our hands at that point.

I'm not religious at all but the stupidity of men to treat women as equals has not only made men live in fear of big governments but have to deal with the unnatural environment brought on by capitalism which has given us wide spread liberalism. The more women are restricted for their own safety the more the insecurities of women are dissolved. Hookup culture for instance has made both sexes antagonistic towards one another and hedonism makes them no longer trust life partners. Men doing this are insuring their own place of dominance just as nature intended. We have no right to judge them when we have such huge problems brought on by the US stupidity to give both sexes freedom.
