Hawks of Miska also do no friendly fire. A bit useful if you want to bind enemy infantry in combat before using it.

Great to see a match with races that aren't popular with the meta. Your casting is great it's why I watch! Being able to understand what's going on despite not playing makes these fun to watch.

I think going wide with cheap Corsar is the right Call. Dont give Skaven any good Targets to shoot and let your Mobility carry. Armored Corsars or Tzar Guard just get wrecked by Catapults and Globadiers.

I'm a big fan of Boris in a lot of Kislev matchups including this one. He is a surprisingly tanky and mobile lord. He also has great utility with his terror ability, the shard blade AOE slow and damage, and frostbite.
I don't think I have ever seen Boris win during the casting. Kislev has atrocious winrate in general
Better hope they don't bring a warp lightning cannon or jezzails or you're gonna spend the whole game dodging

That was such a close match, every moment had me. That deathmaster was soo spooky. Cuz I probably wouldn’t have caught it until my lord was assassinated. Well played to the both of you!
On the cav comparison Empire Knights have 30 more armor, 4 more MD, 22 less CB, and 6 less speed than winged lancers for the same price. Much tankier but slower with a lot less damage from the charge bonus.
As an aside, there's an amusing bug where Kislev didn't get their speed hiked with the move to IE. Their characters and the Gryphon Legion are currently the slowest human cavalry in the game at 75 speed which is a bit ironic given they seem to have originally been balanced as being less tanky but faster than their Imperial counter parts.

I really love a defensive control faction vs a spammy rush faction. Seeing arrows rain into the tides is just so fun

Kislev meta is max winged lancers, max griffin legion, max war bear rider's, put on Sabaton's "when the winged hussars arrive" = auto wins

A few strong shield boys to come in once you had the catapults under control would have made his infantry line easy targets for rear slaps and sweaty point holds? or forced blobs for those ice spells and forcing snitch to help out more on the battlefront taking some pressure off your spellcaster having to try go use his blade ability to help out his noodles
Finally, a good Kislev game!
Would the normal kossars have a bit more value here? Other than ogres, the normal kossars would be a bit more efficient against clanrats, slaves, and hounds

Kislev has some advantages.. but not many with its limited roster. The fact Little groms are SEM's and you can't really snipe them easily is good. Other artillery has to focus it for ages and Grom will never lose models (like 4 cannnons or whatever). It can also fight a bit when it runs out of ammo

God damn ! I didn't know Gryphon Legion looks that cool since I only watch this game on YT and mostly on this channel. I migh be alittle biased just because Im polish so hussars are kinda of our historical proud.

With the right tools on Skaven this is a really hard match up for Kislev. Zaap zaap is a must bring I think and either a poison mortar and globes are really hard to deal with. Everything on their roster beats everything on the kislev roster lol it hurts so bad

I think Slavtonia is the way, with Kossars as stiffer Peasant Archers and a boatload of cav. It's what you did, really, just skip the Groms but keep the cats because Kislev doesn't have a real combat hero yet like the Paladin.

I was just thinking, really? This whole game has been an absolute slaughter for 90%. Even if the rats do get a point they were struggling to hold it with one crap unit and you have so much cav to punish that with
If turin lost that last point he wouldnt be able to retake another point anymore = loss. So yeh really close.
They should give skirmish mode to every unit, e.g. squishy ice witches.
Not sure how it would work for melee unit.
Don't play in a sauna. That much sweat can't be good for your pc.
