    Just installed one on the driver side today and your videos are perfect, I didn’t even looked at the paper instructions.
    One thing I didn’t do was the 90 foot pound of torque the bolts required. It seemed too much. Some truck lug nuts don’t even require that much. I just made sure it was really tight, that’s all.
    Will soon buy the one on the passenger side, since I will probably need more space.
    I am happy overall.

    Good video. I just went to install the driver's side case the big brown truck brought me last night. Unfortunately they sent me passenger side brackets... I had already drilled the holes with the template, so I just screwed the nuts on for now. The other bracket looks like it would be the same for both sides, but the catch piece is different. I went ahead and installed the bracket. You didn't show your method for installing the bolt plates for those. Long right angle needle nose pliers worked well for me.

    Was wondering if you're able to slide a 4x8 sheet of plywood in between the boxes? I sometimes haul a bunch of plywood but would love to have these boxes. Thanks for the video.

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  Год назад

      Hey Darren!…so you would be able to fit 1, maybe 2 sheets under the boxes (they don’t go all the way down to bed)…but there’s not enough room in between them once you come up to the bottom of the cases (hope that makes sense)…let me know if that helps!

    • @dcunion10
      @dcunion10 Год назад

      @@NitroZ18Fishing Thanks for the reply, I guess one box would allow more than 2 sheets? Because the space would allow it on the side that doesn't have one of the swing cases. It seems to be a design flaw, just subtract maybe an inch from the width so we could have both boxes and allow multiple sheets in between the cases. Your thoughts? Thanks again for the videos.

    • @mattchilders3123
      @mattchilders3123 Год назад

      Darren, I had the same concern but I got to thinking that as easy as they are to remove I could just take them off when hauling 10-15 or more pieces of 4X8 plywood.

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  Год назад

      @Darren, yea that would have been nice to be able to squeeze multiple 4x8 sheets in between!…as Matt mentioned, worst case scenario they are super easy to remove…you could pop em off if needed, they remove in seconds as shown in the video…hope that helps!

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
