    Hello everyone, in this video is the part 2 of our food cost computation by percentage but this time gagamit po ako ng excel spreadsheet.

    Hi I'm a newbie & homebased - I would like to follow your food costing sample - paano i-add ang costing for water kung it's a main ingredient sa recipe mo - for example, gelatin dessert - need 4 cups water

      Hi ma'am yung water pwede niyo po estimate nlang yung cost Kasi since distributed Naman po yung usage sa bahay. Nasa sau po magkano ilagay niyo as costing. But if u are using a distilled water alam niyo po Kung ilang ML ang isang bottle at magkano ang bili niyo just get the 1 cup to ml conversion sa Google and same computation ang gawin. Thank you.😊

    kasama ba po ang water content as part of the ingredients sa recipe calculation kahit wala siyang cost involve? thanks!

      For me depende po sa water at sa dami na nagagamit. on my side d ko na minsan include yun since hindi naman ganun kadami. Pero syempre pag we speak about business all must be counted po dapat.☺️

      For me lang po ha, mas maganda e separate niyo yung pag compute if for cakes or for cupcakes. Kasi iba po naman yung production nila.

      Hello po M'Mary. Nakagawa na po ako. Ang kaso hindi ko po alam kung tama. Mini donut po kase yung sa aken. Yung po pinaka huli na computation regarding sa yeild. Ang nilagay ko po kase eh 25 pcs na mini donuts. Kase yun po ang nagawa. Tapos po pag nilagay na po sa clamshells bale 4 clamshells with 6 pcs inside.
      Paano po ba yung yield? Kung ilang pcs ang nagawa or by boxes(clamshells?

    1. ung 5% at 45% ay standard po? Pwede tumaas pero hnd pwede bumaba?
    2. kung may isa pa ako business at ice cream ung gngwa ko ay pwede gamitin ung formula na 5% at 45%?
    3. Anu nga po pla ung 45% or TP(Total Profit). Saan po kinuha un?

      And yes you can adjust the TC (Total creativity) 5% if you think napakahirap gawin yung design like intricate siya..u can adjust po and it's up to you ilan e mark up niyo.

      @@togsiscooking i mean ma'am ung 45% standard po xa? ung mkukuha nmen jan ay yan ung gusto nmen tubuin? ganyan po kze pag kakaintindi ko. pasenya po ma'am, bago lng po sa ganito 😁.
      and by the way ma'am pwede ko iapply ung formula n 5% at 45% s ice cream?

      It's up to you if you will add more % on TP and TC, as i have said in the video na hindi po akin ang formula(nag research lang po) at pinag aralan ko lang siya so i can share it to you guys the way i understand it ☺️. Also, it says na standard daw yung TP but subject to change yung TC. Kasi it will depend how intricate your work. Nasa inyo na rin po if u will use this formula sa iba niyo na business as long yiu think na tama at d kau dehado sa computation niyo.☺️ If u think mababa para sau yung 45% nasa inyo na po if tataasan niyo pa.

      Yes by checking the product e multiply mo yung 561 x 4 then it will give you 2,244.

    Ano po yung yield na tinatawag ? By layers po ba yun sa cake ? Or quantity po yun kung ilan po pans na sinalang nyo ?

      Yield po sa isang recipe or ingredients kung ilan po ang nagagawa nito.

    Wala po bang accurate na computation para sa Gas, electricity and water? Bat estimate lang? Sana po may computation din kung paano makuha yung actual consumption.

      Nag rough estimate lang po tayo diyan sa gas, electric and water kasi depende po yan sa na consume niyo. If meron kayo fix na production daily at alam niyo kung ilang days nauubos yung 1 tank ng gasul niyo. Then pwede niyo siya ma compute ng exact. Halimbawa yung bili niyo ng gas ay 1000/per tank at nauubos niyo eto ng isang buwan at kda araw ay meron kayo 3 cakes na nagagawa (example lang eto ha) computation: 30days x 3 cakes = 90 cakes sa isang buwan. 1000 gas price divide niyo sa 90cakes = 11.11 pesos so, each cake eto yung gas costing niyo. Disclaimer hindi po ako expert mag compute base lang po eto sa pag kaintindi ko. Hope naka help po eto sa inyo. Same thing sa electric and water po yan..mag base kayo sa production niyo, water bill and electric bill. masakit nga lang sa bangs mag compute 😁

    Hello Ma'am. Thank you for this video. May we ask how you arrive at your cost used for eggs? Trying to replicate your computation for 15 pcs saba banana which is worth 60 pesos all-in-all. Thanks for your help :)

      Hi the cost value formula for eggs will depend on the purchase quantity. For example sa video i used 1doz (12pcs) at nabibili ko po ng 89 pesos (price sample used was like 2yrs ago) So when the recipe needs like 3 eggs eto po yung computation 89 ÷ 12 = 7.41 cost value, so 3 x 7.42 = 22.23 cost value ng 3 eggs. Same computation if you purchase by tray example price at present in my place 320/tray(small) ÷ 30 pcs (quantity/tray) = 10.66/egg

    Maam ask ko lang kung 4 cakes yun yield nya. Magkano po kaya selling price kun 2 layerd cakes? Pa-add ko lang po ba un 2 yield cake at yun na po ba ang selling price ko? Salamat po

      Just compute all the costing from ingredients, materials and etc...and same pa din yung yield kung ilan nagawa mo for that ingredients cost but adjust po kayo sa percentage as mentioned depende how intricate na yung work at ilang days mo ginawa. Make sure na include mo lahat pati puyat at pagod mo. Then use the computation same as shown in the video.

      @@togsiscooking yes po nacompute ko na po lahat ng ingredient cost sinunod ko din po lahat ng computation po ninyo iba lang po ang mga prices na gamit ko. Kung halimbawa po 564 selling price per cake kasi po 4 din po yield niya ibig sabihin po ba yun price ng 2 layered cake ay pa add ko lang price nun 2 yield cake? Sorry po baguhan lang po kasi gusto ko po sana malaman kung hindi po ako talo sa selling price na mga binebenta ko. Salamat po sa inyo. More power po

      @rhyteejeanhelera7091 depende po yan sayo paano mo siya e price kasi pag ganyan na layered cakes lalo na pag customized siya "cake pricing will be based on design na talaga" like mahirap ba eto ginawa mo intricate ba masyado, at ilang days ang inilaan mo for that layered cakes. So you have to mark up your price depending on your labor and location of course included na yung computed cost mo. Based on your location meaning kung ano yung market standard diyan sa lugar mo. The computation will guide you lang na hindi ka malugi sa pag price ng cakes mo.

      @@togsiscooking gnaya ko lang din po kasi un design nyo sa red velvet hehe. Mag mark up lang po talga yun price depende sa design at pagod sa pagbuo ko po sa layered cake. Cge po isama ko po sa computation para makita ko po talaga kung magkano selling price parang po kc lugi po ako sa layerd cake na 8x2 pan huhu.       Nasa sau na yan pwede mo e adjust, price will always vary depende sa cost, labor, time consumed sa pag gawa ng cake and how intricate your design and etc. Etong computation will based as guide din po. Nasa sau if sundin mo lahat.

      Also pwede rin gamitin ang Rule of thumb na computation ex. Total cost ÷ yield x 3 = selling price
      Again, pwede niyo e adjust ang price. Meron ako vid for that yung part 1 na video.
