- Happy Halloween! Sorry for the recent delays in videos, but I am back up doing great! After many requests over the years, I've taken the hammock camping behind a cemetery. I didn't camp right in the cemetery to be respectful to those who have passed. Was a great night, a cold night, but a good one.

Yup and I have never been disappointed with his video content
Steve is da bomb!
Pretty sure I've never seen a person walking with a backpack and wondered if they were planning to stealth camp. Steve's paranoia makes me giggle.
Well there are ordinary backpacks and there are hiking bags like Steve wears. I’ve never seen anyone wearing a hiking bag that wasn’t on their way to or from a camping situation
It’s the reason I watch it to be honest
1) you might think of it now! :P
2) steve's is different than a normal backpack.... it designed for camping gear and kinda looks like it...

This is gold. 😂
When I was working for Northwest PS we had a guard who had a crazy homeless person sneak up behind them and knock them out with a stick to the head. I got to work that site shortly after it happened. I am always mindful of my surroundings in that kind of environment; because, you have to be. The back of the site was near woods and a railroad track.
I was a security officer - Ghosts are REAL
I was security downtowd in denver Co. For 6 years I worked overnights in a few different buildings and never saw any supernatural stuff. Old buildings in the dark are creeoy but normal. Walking around the 16th street mall at all hours of the night is fun too. Always kept a gun on me.

Aren't they just shy wild dogs? I'd want to lure them in to try and befriend them.
@@prndownload Wolves can be fierce. Not like a house dog.
@@fitybux4664 They are coyotes however. I would have my dog with me. He's exceptional when assessing threats in the animal kingdom or dealing with wild animals. His behaviour would tell me immediately what their intentions were. Knowing him he'd probably make friends with them and join their pack. Then he'd slowly take over the pack leader position without there even being a fight.
He's the type of dog you don't own or take for a walk. He makes his own decisions and you're walking by yourself while he just keeps an eye on you. If you try to boss him around or rush him, he'll challenge you. Such an epic dog though. Advanced level.
They aren't all that dangerous really, he could scare them off easy
That transition is comedy gold. "That's just great... Food time!"
I grew up next to a cemetery, that's where we played as kids, my mother always said the dead will never hurt you the living will, wise words.
ha ha agree.....and over here in Europe the cemeteries look more rustic or vintage or even authentic....not the sterile flat grass plain fields with universal size gravestones in the US ( or as it seems Canada ).
As a child in Germany I used to walk home at sundown and had to cross a cemetary which looked and felt very ancient and spooky.....and I always hurried along those few meters to cross the cemetery....
it was especially creepy because it has ( still has ) that ancient looking church right in the middle with that huge mosaic window overlooking the path........this church always reminded me of one of Stephen King's novels.....no lights but that creepy window seems to got illuminated by itself and cast an unholy shadow upon the lane toward the exit............as it was screaming to anyone to trespass the holy grounds
Everybody gangsta until the hand comes out of the ground. 🖐🏻
Was thier any creepy noises or paranormal activity? Sounds werid but I’m curious

Steve has that old fashioned Canadian humor that anyone can enjoy
I lived in a small house surrounded on two sides by a massive cemetery. The front yard and one side of yard didn't exist just tombstones so close you could read them from the living room window. The cemetery was the most peaceful living I've ever had. Zero noise. No annoying neighbors and would never be. Not a single incident of anything supernatural for all the superstitious people out there. I would definitely live there again if I could.

When my husband and I were homeless back in 2017 we would often "stealth camp" next to the cemetery that was, in turn, next to the hospital. It was a good spot as we were shielded from the road and hospital security eyes. Also we could use the restroom at the hospital. Convenient. Only once were we ever startled awake. It was in the middle of the night and a huge raccoon was going through his territory and making it known that he did not approve of us! Except for that it was otherwise always quiet and peaceful next to the cemetery. So much safer than laying your head amongst the other hundred or so homeless sleeping rough on any given night. Seeing this almost makes me nostalgic. Lol.
You could have stayed in my bed, baby.

I camped in a rural cemetery that my grandmother is buried in. I drove 2,000 miles to put flowers on her grave & I arrived on a late Saturday afternoon. I drove my car & tiny camper close to her grave & decorated it; then I had a peaceful nights sleep after having a couple drinks with grandma. Her resting place is right next to a paved road & I did get a few people rubbernecking as they drove by, but no one stopped to question me. I think the spirits there were pleased & amused that I had the nerve to camp amongst them. A cemetery IS a good place to get a good rest!

I was homeless when I was in my late teens and lived in a tent in the cemetery for several months, way in the back but out in the open. There were no graves back there yet. No one bothered me. Once, the police drove up in the middle of the night and banged on the front aluminum tent pole. I stuck my head out and he said, "Have you seen so-and-so?" He was a local kid that had run away from home. I told him I hadn't seen him, which was the truth. He said, "OK. Thanks." and went back to his cruiser and drove away. I went back to sleep. A few weeks later, after eating at the town restaurant, I came back to my tent and the fire department had driven their truck up there and turned a hose on the inside of my tent, soaking everything inside and demolishing my tent. I moved to the woods behind the post office after that. Good times!

When my grandfather was a young preacher, he and other young preachers traveled from town to town preaching at churches. Sometimes people would invite him to stay at their homes but sometimes the congregation was poor and didn’t have room. In those cases, he often camped in or near cemeteries because he didn’t have to worry about robbers.
