When you think about the whole 14mins, it is quite disgusting, isn't it? The jumped up ' little plod' had no idea at all what AB was doing illegally but was determined to show AB who was in charge. Such a cretin should never leave the station! He makes a mockery of the police farce! 😡
~Ten years ago, when this beautiful station was just being rebuilt, I was stuck there after a late football match (Villa-Sunderlad), not a single copper approached me. And here, AB just arrived and so much attention 😮
Do these officers get no training on the application of legislation? Section 47a, as AB points out, needs authorisation from a senior officer, and has time and geographic limits. I suspect one was not in place, making the use of 47a powers unlwful. Also, there are no powers of detention expressed in the Health Protection Regulations. The power to 'detain' is their power of arrest, given under section 24 of PACE.
The office of Constable is now a complete joke. More like press-gang officers cajoling members of public to submit to the powers of the state. Camera's are part of everyday life, unless, your employed as a Police officer, who find it suspicious.
About time the police started paying a standard fee, for using a person's Time and attention. The actions from this incident boarders on trespass with menacing threat.

AB: Am I free to go?
PC Owen: Goodbye
🤷🏾♂️ ...... he just couldn't bring himself to admit he had no grounds to detain you.
They never do, when you find yourself in a hole 🕳stop digging ‼️⛏
When you think about the whole 14mins, it is quite disgusting, isn't it? The jumped up ' little plod' had no idea at all what AB was doing illegally but was determined to show AB who was in charge. Such a cretin should never leave the station! He makes a mockery of the police farce! 😡
AB , you are a hero , for real.
~Ten years ago, when this beautiful station was just being rebuilt, I was stuck there after a late football match (Villa-Sunderlad), not a single copper approached me. And here, AB just arrived and so much attention 😮
I almost expected Jeremy Beadle to jump out with a film crew. PC Young Man was very entertaining.
How quickly the police turn up but when there's real crime happening they're nowhere to be seen. "Just a crime number"
Take a shot every time he says ‘Young man’
That shop just got some great free advertising! And all the way to Australia too!
Handy to know , but sadly I’d never remember that . You have impressive recall .
About time the police started paying a standard fee, for using a person's Time and attention. The actions from this incident boarders on trespass with menacing threat.
Hard to quantify the level of stress and oppression l feel watching and listening to that dis-eased apparent fascist police employee.
You won that one AB, for sure.
PC Mark Owen ! I’m surprised he didn’t say “Take That” or “Have This” 😂😂
Yet another Example of an officer that needs some training.
As for him calling you Young man, ( Sir would have been moor appropriate )
yep very patronising use of the term clearly on purpose
Totally belittling AB, a member of the public undergoing his lawful business, to gain an advantage
Is AB older than him if so young man is a bit of a silly thing to say
