They verbally abused a member of the public for doing something which is totally legal taking pictures in public. The watches are on display for all to see. I myself have taken pictures of watches in a shop window to show my girlfriend later to find which one she likes the best. I then returned to the shop to make a purchase. If I got verbally abused like AB they would have lost my business. These shop keepers are a disgrace to potential customers.

This cop is exactly what's wrong with society in a whole. He hears the money man's side and kept telling the man recording about their rights but not once told them about his. He seems cool but buckles to the corporate dollar.
The Sergeants 'impartial' behaviour was worse than the jewellery shop men. The Sergeant personifies what is very wrong with the police. The Sergeant twisted the law to spin the situation onto the victim. The police manipulating the law to suit themselves is a real problem.
Yo AB. I phoned this jewellers today to ask them if it's ok for me to drive past their shop. They said "of course, why? ", so I said "because I have a dashcam and I dont want to film your windows and cause your staff to feel the need to go and cry about it at the local police station". They just hung up 😂
I’ve repeatedly tried to express my disgust to Police about the actions of Officers, they’re not interested. What we CAN do is call the jewellers and let them know how we don’t appreciate how they deal with the general public. Call them.
IF the jeweler owners are watching: I've also got detailed photos of your 'expensive watches' and your store. I have no intention of buying and you have no understanding why I have these photos, and what's more, you will NEVER know.
If the shop has adequate security in place, that should be enough. They kept saying “it’s not usual behaviour” but on the flip side, chasing someone down the road for being outside the shop is even more strange!!!

Negate their "OK,s" by interrupting with "negative". Did you you notice when they're explaining they're wringing their hands or talking with they're hands, a sure sign they're on shaky ground. Legal cameras clear cops constipation.
Hahaha AB, this is Green+Benz in Chesterfield, this has already crippled their reviews. I've just left them one. They shouldn't be such bully boys. Swearing etc and chasing you down lol, enjoy the reviews boys!
Your work is always good. Nice one. You don't even have to answer police. Suspicion is not a crime. Once they've explained it's suspicious you should say, "ok it's suspicious. Now what? Now you know I was just taking pictures what do you expect to happen? I haven't committed a criminal offense so now what. Bye!"
The watch in question in the Video was eventually accused of wasting Police resources . It's currently serving time. I tried to make a belt out of watches, but it was a waist of time. I called my new dog Rolex, since he’s a watchdog. I can't believe they fired me from the expensive watch factory after all the extra hours I put in! Did you hear about the watch that went to therapy? It was just trying to wind down.
I burst out laughing when you panned down to his shoe's. What a pair of wabs. Hopefully his customers will see what kind of angry tits are getting their money.
The Police love using sec 5 for swearing when it comes to people they don't like and are looking to get any way they can. Otherwise apparently it doesn't matter at all. I think it's fair to say these guys behaved in a way VERY likely to cause alarm harassment and distress. Following someone, swearing at them, threatening to chase them. They are responsible for the security of their property, anything outside they need to refer to the Police.
We're in 2023 and why is it hard to believe that someone could be filming something on their phone to show someone else for totally innocent reasons? Someone could be filming inside a jewellery shop's window so they can have a look back later and decide what to buy for someone? Or maybe show someone and ask for their opinion? Why does everything have to be suspicious and negative? What a world we live in.

They verbally abused a member of the public for doing something which is totally legal taking pictures in public. The watches are on display for all to see. I myself have taken pictures of watches in a shop window to show my girlfriend later to find which one she likes the best. I then returned to the shop to make a purchase.
Excellent point about the threatening behaviour. They were very intimidating.
