When they first approached him he was doing precisely that - and had gone beyond any footpath. Open prisons have a real problem with the media trying to photograph various prisoners. For instance, when Jeffrey Archer was in one the media were constantly trying to get pictures of him. Does anyone think that there should be no restrictions on that activity?

I was released from this prison HMP Springhill in the beginning of the year. It's a Cat-D prison open conditions so you get to go out to work and get used to civil life again. Grendon is further inside a proper locked up prison with no access inside. But yes a phone inside the prison is a threat to security and inmates are not allowed phones especially smart phones. The prison issues you a normal phone without cameras or internet when they allow you home leaves or leave the prison for work. It's one of the best open condition prisons in the UK. I waited 4 months to get into that place. The young prison officer who is bossy is incharge of inmates living allocation he sits in the reception. But yes AB I liked the way you told them that you are NOT AN INMATE so stop talking to you the way they was. They talk down to prisoners like they are children its inhumane. Good Work and I watched this video twice. Keep it up bro. 👍❤💯

So they give him 5 years when he really should of got 3. You get nonces that get lighter sentences. Then you get nonces that are a danger to the children of our country and they get F all time. 5 years is what Rolf Harris got and he was abusing his daughters mate from when she was 12 until she was 18. I've passed Grendon many times out cycling in Bucks, and wondered what went on up there. Now I know. Brilliant!
The gate you went through first is the old gate to the Manor House at the top of the hill, called Grendon Hall. There used to be a gate house next to it. It was still there, though dilapidated, in the 70s then knocked down and a house built there. All the hosing used to be officer's housing but was sold off in the 80's.
If you ever think on with visits like this, ask them to clarify where their boundary line is and how any reasonable person would be expected to know not to pass that point. There always seems to be a boundary 'just down there' without any sort of markings or delineation. At this place how can you get to the notice board to read what is written on it without stepping onto the prison property?

If you ever think on with visits like this, ask them to clarify where their boundary line is and how any reasonable person would be expected to know not to pass that point. There always seems to be a boundary 'just down there' without any sort of markings or delineation. At this place how can you get to the notice board to read what is written on it without stepping onto the prison property?

This is absolutely disgraceful! 10 officers came outside!? Have they not got anything better to do then harass someone for doing a lawful activity...all of them need to be retrained & also learn how to approch a member of the public without being so rude. Unbelievable.
