This worked perfect!! My daughter got permanently locked out of her phone and this worked to get it back going! I was losing my mind trying to figure out how to fix it 🙈😂

Thanks, unfortunately the same happened to me, I got that permanent disabled message, I had to restore. I lost all my files, but I guess this is a lesson, always have a backup with iTunes on PC. I believe this is a new bug with recent iOS 15 updates. The steps to recreate it might be simple. If you enter your passcode too many times and end up replacing the screen, this happens.
@@blackscreen2522 It's a shitty situation that can happen to anyone and Apple still hasn't fixed it. A phone screen cracks and starts inputting the passcode by itself, locking the iphone multiple times. I guess Apple doesn't care or perhaps it's intentional because third party screens are used maybe, not directly from Apple.

If I lost all of my files, all the photos of the past 5 years (iphone xs) I swear I'm changing to samsung once again, I loved apple but their BS with their stuff is so fucking toxic. How do they expect people to buy a fucking charger from their company, if the cord itself is 25€ and then the plug is another 25? Or an official screen being more expensive than a fucking phone itself?

@@iSmart1 Sorry for the confusion, you mean yes wipe out all data? or yes data still safe? The reason is because I did not back up or have icloud back up, so if I restore i worry I will loose everything. Thanks
you have two options: 1- update only: no data will be lost 2- restore: all data will be lost Note: sometimes the update may fail, then you will have no other option except restoring the phone. for the contracts you May get them back in both options.
