I just picked one up and have been using it for a few weeks on my A7III. While by no means awe inspiring it gets the job done. It's not really sharp even in the center at f1.8. Looks good by f2.5. If you're printing though it will be fine. Small and light, focuses well. Images seem consistent with my Sony native lenses in terms of color. I don't do much video but the 35mm field of view for stills is nice to have. For under $300 in nice used condition it's well worth it.
Nice review! Just published my own review of this lens too about a week ago. I found it to be the best value lens for Sony FE, though admittedly I am relatively new to full frame. My next review will be the 75mm variant of this lens, which is also terrific (and even less expensive!)
Appreciate the review and the humor.

I saw so many reviews on the Samyang 35 mm, this one is absolutely neutral & to the point. Loved it. Thanks!

Great reviews and funny punch lines! thanks1
Nice intro, lol! I like the humor and sound effects you threw in here! I haven't yet tried buying makeup for my wife from the dollar store! ;)
