I’m sure there is a reason, just don’t know why they made the “tractor” so long. It’s not high speed at 15 mph so straight line stability shouldn’t be a problem, especially with the trailer attached helping to keep it from tipping. Seams like if it was a more traditional upright rider position it would improve visibility. I can definitely see that being a problem with that low of a driver position, and that long nose sticking out. Would also shorten the space needed to operate and park which I think would make it more desirable. And lastly make it that much more maneuverable.
From escooter recovery operation point of view, you want to stack the scooters on top of each other, like euro semi trucks are delivered, they pulling each other stacked on top of the their own fifth wheel. So yo need to load scooters from back or side, middle has a large support that has foldable escooter brackets that are angled so the front wheel sits on top of the other scooter's board. Stack. This way you might double to triple that 7 scooters to 14-21 scooters. Now if you can charge those scooters on trailer when it is taken to depot, you can return the scooters without unnecessary unloading.
The SemiTrike is the product. The trailer is an accessory. Trailers can be designed according to customer needs. This application is merely a demonstration of one possible application. As shown in an illustration within this video, batteries are stored inside the weatherproof compartment where they can charge up using power from the SemiTrike. That problem has been solved. -Producer Tim
Its a bit long. The handle bars look a little wide too. It would be interesting to see the riders head hight and distance from the front wheel compared to a golf cart or a compact car. I do like the aspect of it giving a customer more access to a wider variety of areas that vehicles may not be allowed to go.
Appreciate the need for micromobility delivery in the USA NOW, not in 10 or 15 more years. I can't see how that pedal system becomes functional. It doesn't have a chainline to the rest of the drivetrain, and it's not a generator for series hybrid yet, but you could fit that as needed. I can see this being a great setup for a mobile kiosk/coffee/food cart too. Also mechanics and other trades. HVAC tech could easily show up with a new compressor and whole house full of air handlers, and at the end of the day, haul away all the old equipment for recycling. Might want a seat on the trailer for a second tech.
This is simple proven technology. All components are off-the-shelf. Reliability is not a concern. The pedals work now. Miss GoElectric used them in this video. The same sensors which enable pedal assist on millions of eBikes are active. The chain is not necessary. -Producer Tim
Miss GoElectric has reviewed about 100 eBikes and motorcycles. So far, she has all of her teeth. Have you seen the reviews? ebikes.missgoelectric.com -Producer Tim
Did you know that there are about 65,000 bicycle delivery workers in New York City alone? That is a good example of how any person can contribute to the transportation of goods with no license. SemiTrike expands those possibilities and can greatly reduce labor costs. -Producer Tim www.nycitynewsservice.com/2024/02/29/delivery-food-app-worker-day-in-life-nyc
I really like this concept but I feel like all they're doing is recreating an Asian style tuk-tuk with a trailer. This seems over complicated at this time. This thing needs to be $8k not $13k for just the trike.
Low volume, high price. If demand is sufficient for high volume production to become established, prices will drop. Thanks for commenting! -Producer Tim
I do not need one, but I really want one. 😮
When these go into production, it will be neat to see how they are deployed. $13k starting MSRP.

The weight must be distributed and the trike must be stable. Miss GoElectric navigated sidewalks with ease. -Producer Tim

21:44 OMG! That could've ended poorly.

"I'm fine, how many teeth am I holding?"

I call trikes bikes all the time 😊
In this video Zach confirms that etrikes are indeed recognized officially as ebikes by the law in the USA.:)

This is looks like a great vehicle, but if I meet one on a cycle lane I will not be happy, it ain't a cycle!
Does local law agree with that assertion?
Thanks for watching!
