I used to team drive doing prisoner transport around the country and let me tell you, that sleeper berth is more luxurious than anything I ever had when I was working over the road.
Add a bit of "The Right Stuff" on every other lug nut and pop the cap back on. On my 15 LongHorn I lost three within a couple years. Since using the Right Stuff I have NOT lost a single cap, even in 100+ weather.. RR
The mic is a bit cloudy, the wind doesn’t seem to be an issue which is good but kinda sounds like you are speaking into a class cup. Other then that great work… hope this information helps
Hey 501 do you idle that truck much? Iv got a 24 ram and wondering about that iv been thinking of going with a generator setup for heat and air but if the idling isn’t a big deal I’ll just idle it
I do idle if it’s hot or cold outside, but I have a generator that I’m planning on mounting as well. I was told that if you idle a Cummins to turn your cruise control on and bump it up 1 notch. Supposedly the number 5 injector doesn’t get as much Lubricant when it’s at plain idle.
Is Mikes truck fully deleted to be able to sit idling? My dealer shop told me to never let my 24 cummins idle or I'll be shorting the life of the truck with the emissions.
@dsbs4001 it's not. I'm not saying it's not bad for it. But alot of these dealers and some mechanics don't know what they talking about. Just keep some good dpf cleaner in it and make sure it's going through the proper regen. Cfarmer has a 2018 chevy 2500 fully stock with over 600k on it. He idles all the time with no issues.
I went with this in case I got bored with RV Transport and got a job around the house I would have a regular pickup truck. I also own a toy hauler that I tow with it.
Love the fold up table idea for the bed frame. Very clever!
That's an AWESOME setup!!!

Can't wait for more videos on the new gig.
@w4gle1963 thank you. Hopefully one will be coming out Thursday.
Good to hear no problems with his truck, I have a 24 SRW 3500 & have heard a few complaints about 5th gen Cummins
@@jimf1450 hopefully they will do good
I think it was mostly '19 to '22 that had the most problems.
I hope I have good luck with it.
Nice truck set up .

This is wild! I’ve been out here, roughing it since April. I hadn’t even built a bed yet.
Where the hell do y’all get the time to do all this?!?!😂

@ good info thanks for the reply
Just out of curiosity, what MPG range do you get with his truck? Payload on the sticker? HO motor or just the normal Cummins?
Thanks for the video!
@BillUtah 16 empty. He's hauled about 20k no problem. HO
Yes it has the HO motor with the Aison transmission with 373 rear gears.
@@501HAULIN I have a 2023 3500 dually HO diesel with 4.10 gear ratio. I'm glad the 2024 Ram HO diesel allowed 3:73 on them trucks.

Awesome! Do you service your own truck or take it to a dealer?
Nice truck. Is your company busy now with rv hauling?
@philipphoffmanntruckingvlogs we just switched companies. Everyone is slow right now.
Thank you sir!
How are the load boards. I heard they are empty at the moment? If empty what’s the word on when it will pick up again
@isedie you heard right. Hopefully soon since the election is over.
What is the height of the fifth wheel from the ground to the very top of the fifth wheel...????
I believe it’s about 52”
Wouldn't it be better to buy a used sleeper truck instead?
@ltgengr everyone has there preference. But you can't do single pull campers with a simi.

What is going on messing you
I sold my 2023 ram 3500 because these new rams consume a lot of engine oil and I bought a 2016 3 and it is a much better ram 500
