Great Video!!🎉
Thank you
Great video .. I think you done fine and you are sending me in the right direction .. Thanks brother
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching
Awesome video thank you my friend
I think he said before Indiana Transport… but I could be wrong.
Don’t know why that comment landed here…
@@erg2 I left the comment before I finished watching the video. Yes, he said Indiana Transport needs to mow the lawn and he mentioned it another time.
What about Dot?? And how is the process of became a driver hauling campers? Shorter miles drives better or longer drive miles money wise??
@elihernandez3677 I've never been messed with by dot. Longer miles are usually better. Especially west coast cause they pay a little extra per mile. And you don't have multiple loads with the pull in fee. Each load has a $40-45 pull in fee for the shuttle drivers. Just call all the transport companies in Indiana and start asking questions and pick the best one for you.
@semperfitransport6572 l tougth that Dot permit was a must in order for them to let you drive off with campers, are you always bussy hauling campers??
@elihernandez3677 yes. You do have to have a dot inspection on your truck once a year. And also have a dot medical card. Right now it is very slow. You can still stay busy. Just can't be picky. I would personally wait until atleast after the election to see how things go.
As a retired teacher, proudly retired, we teach it they just ain't interested in learning it
I definitely believe that.
Nice tattoos
Thank you
What company are you with?
Indiana Transport
Thats some decent money considering you slept in your bed every other night. I'm In Paris, TX so Goshen will be a 15 hour drive from home. I still got some time & research before I start but learning alot for sure. I'm a logistics guru so planning part will be easy once I learn ropes of where I can go and possibly pick up other loads from. Can I ask which company you are working for? Just making a list so I can check em all out and make best choice for what my plans are.. Semper Fi..Keep Crushing It!! Stay HUMBLE, Stay HUNGRY, Stay FOCUSED...~The Jarhead Entrepreneur
My theory is that they can save money by doing everything in batches. They let a few transactions build up and do them all at once
Idk. I think they just sit around talking and laughing all day. That's all I ever hear in the background when I call
@@semperfitransport6572 there is probably a better chance that you are correct
Some hotshot drivers are carrying 3 small loads on a 40ft straight deck going to 3 different places
Im about to be coming on board with them in 2 weeks any advice besides what you’ve covered in this video
Congrats. Just pay attention in orientation. It's VERY fast paced. All they want to do is get you in and out.
@@semperfitransport6572 I’m not new to Trucking or hotshot currently still calling a 389 home. I hear the road test is pretty much a joke and was just wondering if any advice besides what’s in your videos that you would give
@kblan6750 it is. Basically after half day of class. You go to the yard. They make sure you can properly hook up a travel trailer. Drive around the block. As long as you don't hit anything you passed. They sign off and you got back to the office and get your first load. And away you go. With you being in trucking you know how it is. They just want to get as many through the door as they can.
I really would love to talk to you. I just bought my truck a 2024 dodge ram Dooley flatbed I want to haul multiples that I need a company that leases the trailers, but I want someone who pays the best
Really don't give out my phone number. But feel free to email me with any questions.
@@semperfitransport6572 no worries I have only giving out my number to a couple of my subscribers of the years myself you can’t be too careful really enjoy your channel. I am excited about switching from the big rig to the Rv Transport game.
What's the end of year taxes percentage wise for the government?
As an independent contractor I'm thinking around 30% of gross. Key is claim as many deductions as you can showing you didn't make hardly anything.
So roughly 800 miles per day?
@@seabarnes3570 about 675
What company ?
Indiana Transport
Company is drwing interest off payroll accounts payable.. is what i think.. figure if they got a million in payroll and whatever the interest is they making money off the pay u getting.. after getting half of the cost of the load before u even hook up 😂. Ive talked to the owners of several rv places on average four dollars a mile for fifth wheels..
You probably right. I've seen some of the invoices. It's crazy.
Trying to find you on FB...
Good video, but your math is way off on hotshot trucking. You ever want to go over true numbers reach out to me.
