Oh yeah, Sweet Tooth is just broken there. Moon Buggy was also some BS to fight against, but not to this degree.
Also, I've just unlocked a memory - my brother had a weird Twisted Metal 4 version where Sweet Tooth's Henchmen only had one flying head for some reason.

You forgot Club kid. His whirlpools are OP to the point If you have infinite specials you can clear the tournament in less than 15 minutes
I would also add Thumper from TM2, he can kill most enemies in seconds...
While Club Kid's special is probably the best one from TM3, if you need to cheat (by using infinite ammo) to make your choice overpowered, then it isn't overpowered.
@@D3K018 If the list didn't have Minion (which requires cheats to unlock), I bet TM2 Thumper would be on it.
@@nijunikuro even without the cheats if you use whirlpools his damage still does the most from everyone else. As someone stated, they didn't bother testing the game as club kid when playing the game.
Moon buggy also had a op special similar to sweet tooth a special from tm 4. Those 2 had the worst specials because it was automatically death since their specials had the tendency to push you also out of a stage.
Dark Tooth's machine gun sound is to mimic the constant headache Sweet Tooth feels from his flaming head.
You know, a TM2 Minion playthrough where you can only use the rearfire mega gun (No ramming, no special) could actually be really interesting. I didn’t even realize that was a weapon this entire time, I thought it was just a weird graphic effect.

Fun fact you can use jump up up left I think, when playing as shadow and launch your special from the air, it still give damage buff when you launch it after jumping up

Wasn’t Darkside in TM1 supposed to be pretty op also? Really it just seems like whatever character is good at ram damage is top tier
PC version of TM1 has Darkside as pretty top tier. His special is a freeze which lets him do what he does best and that's obliterate other cars by ramming them.
Warthog rams better than Darkside un TM1

Maybe some honorable mentions would've been Primeval, Meter Maid, Club Kid, and Hammerhead from TM1.

I feel special commendation should be given to Darkside in Twisted Metal 1.. but only for PC. Ramming damage is very high is TW1 and in the PC version Darkside's special will freeze the enemy, making it so you can bully everyone in that game.

In 2012 online multiplayer, it was a team game with 2 teams, each playing as a gang. Each team was only allowed one juggernaut for the whole match. When it died, that team just didn't have a juggernaut anymore cause it was that good.
Also you could open up the back and have other 2 or 3 players drive into the trailer so they can control massive turrents, increasing the firepower

Mr.slam combo was insanely good remembering using his super with all power ups in combos not even minion was safe.
Juggernaut I always found was the fastest vehicle to die. It has great armor, but it's so massive that it doesn't matter who was getting targeted, you're the one getting hit, and on top of that it's difficult to maneuver, so anyone actually trying to target you just ha has to keep to your side and get unlimited free shots
Also am I the only one who love Tm 4 sweet tooth's special? I feel however it should be calpyso's special since he created twisted metal if he was a boss character. Sweet tooth special is essentially having 3 slaves who play the game on expert difficulty doing the work for you.
0:12 yeah, if the list included characters that you’d need a GameShark to unlock, then I would say for sure that Darkside from Twisted Metal 3 is an overpowered character.
But, another character, that I feel is overpowered, is Minion from Twisted Metal: Black. That incarnation of Minion should’ve at least got an honourable mention
TM3 Darkside was very weak. The armor was glitched in where it had the same armor value as Mr. Grimm. The only true benefit was that his special weapon was also glitched in which it did unusually high damage for no reason. If you are using cheats, Primeevil is the best vehicle to use in TM3.

Sweet Tooth in 4 got a taste of Calypso's power and is intent on keeping it, unintention or otherwise it's neat from a lore perspective but damn did they overdo it.
The only real difference between SP Juggs & MP is that the MP version allows other to control the Trailer Turrets
I wish answer your question and curiosity about Juggernaut in TM2012 multiplayer, since I was one of the lucky ones to experience the multiplayer before the servers were shut down.
So in most gamemodes, Juggernaut pretty much handled the same in free for all game modes... but it's the Team vs Team game modes where he gets absolutely fuck busted.
because in team game modes, you can open up the back doors to let members of your team enter to man one of the 2 extra turrets on Juggernaut, one being a tri-gun on the front, and the other being a swarmer missile launcher on the back payload...
which thanks to that, makes Juggernaut a rolling apocalypse.
though, the devs knew how much of a problem Jugg was and made it to where one 1 juggernaut can be spawned per team per match to offset how disgusting he was. plus anyone with the sniper weapon worth their salt can instant kill Juggernaut(imo the sniper should have never been added to the game.)
