Well done buddy that's what you call a good session. Glad to hear Jack's on the mend and like you say fishing is one of the best things for any mental health issues or just to get rid of some stress. I know you are a dog lover and we lost our 10 year old border terrier a couple of days ago. It's hit me like a ton of bricks as he wasn't just a pet, he was my best friend who always cheered me up what I was down. My Mrs is in a right state as he was her baby and she treated him like one. I've buried him in the garden with his favourite toys but you just don't realise how much they mean to you until they are gone. Sorry for going on a bit and I'm looking forward to your next session, take care buddy.
Really sorry to hear that mate, I know what you're going through! We lost our collie, unexpectedly, a couple of years ago. I'm not ashamed to say it still brings me to tears now. Dogs truly are man's best friend. Just remember to treasure the memories and the life you gave them in the time you had with them ❤️
@@theawfulangler Thank you buddy, my Mrs is thinking of getting a puppy now. Nothing will replace the one we lost but it might take our minds off what happened by being busy with a pup, thanks for the replying, Tony.
Personally, I wasn't ready to get another one for about 6 months, and even then, I felt bad about it. But Max had always had Billy to keep him company, so that eventually drove me to get Eric. Everyone's different and we still had max so there was still someone to keep us company.
@@theawfulangler I know exactly what you mean there. Every dog is different and have their own personality which just can't be replaced. I also think it's too early but maybe having a puppy wanting attention and walks just might keep us busy but I really don't know. Thanks for listening to me and replying I appreciate it as most people would say it's just a dog and get over it but he was treated like a baby and spoilt rotten.
You will never hear the words 'it's just a dog' come from my mouth mate. But yeah, prices are crazy! Have you thought about taking a walk around the local shelters? We have said our next will be a rescue.
