-When he talks about the "monk" he is making reference on the past incidence when he used to go to a temple and talked to the monks there (he trusted them) but then the monks went and released their private conversations to the korean media.
-When he says "not a fcking dimoplat" he is making reference to all the times netizens call out bts for not talking about political troubles, like he's a rapper, what is he supposed to do.
Basically this song is not only representing his solo preferences, but he is also calling out everyone who talks about them.
Using the Palestine situation as an example for the diplomat line is insensitive and inaccurate considering the song/album was made way before October. I'm pretty sure he was referring to being used as the government's puppet for the Busan Expo (government officials "visiting" their families to "convince" them to perform, HYBE having to bear all the costs) and being granted the diplomatic passports to represent the country. A lot of armys want them to speak up because they’ve shown their support in the past (Banksy art, UNICEF) and you just need to be a decent human being to see who’s on the right side. Personally, I know it's illegal for those who are enlisted to comment on issues like this hence why I'm not pushing them to but it all leads back to the ones who enforced the rules, which is why the word diplomat was used.

I also think the monk can be a double meaning, A what you stated and also the expectation from some fans/netz of him/them having to live like a monk. No dating drinking smoking sex relationships ect..
This is incorrect. That isn't what he references with the diplomat line because he and BTS have always been outspoken about social injustice and "political troubles". They also idolize artists who do the same. What he is referencing is the south korean government using them as diplomats, to the point that their enlistment affected the entire country's political climate and had entire government organizations debating whether they should exempt them or not, essentially taking this decision out of their hands (but BTS took the decision back after they announced their enlistments directly after the Busan concert instead of waiting on the government's decision).
I love the “you walk like a duck *****” bc not only is it a funny insult, it’s also like that saying “if it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, walks like a duck, then it’s a duck” and it’s probably referring to ppl who pretend to be cool with him/BTS but really just want to use their success/ ride their coattails, hence the repeated “get yo *** outta trunk”, stop hitching a ride in my trunk when you are just a fake clout chaser who does not care abt me or my team…….IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. I keep coming back to him saying in that letter after the FESTA2022 aftermath how he got more calls and messages abt the fake “BTS is going solo” headlines than he did abt their Grammy nominations…a lot of people only care abt the “downfall” and don’t care to be part of/celebrate the success.
RM also made it a point to say during a livestream that he’s a lot goofier and a jokester than ppl give him credit for and I love that he really put that into this new project, from the babefying himself in the “Come back to me” MV, the wigs from the “Lost!” MV, to this MV where he throws it back against a street pole and smacks his *** in the end, he is really letting it out.
The thing about RM is that, he has never made music for the mainstream media and he never will. He creates individual pieces of music which resonates with him, just like art. Music is art and he is firm with that. Love him for being honest.💜
he didn't say I'll set me free but "I'll set YOU free" and that's more impactful because people have all these expectations and he's letting them down now lmao

The question though is why. Is CCW afraid of RUclips? Have they been struck before due to cussing? Or is this supposed to be a kid-friendly channel, which seems to be the only obvious reason? I love the song & message. Just stop putting expectations on Namjoon shoulders he never asked. And when they dont get these expectations fulfilled, they become hating. BTW, they used a real mirror to achieve the double angle shots, it’s not post editing. They said that this video was shot in one afternoon and that they wanted to just follow RM around as he relaxed and just had fun with the song so that it was more authentic and raw, there was nothing choreographed, so RM is literally just doing what comes to his mind. It’s amazing how much presence he has without even trying. The charisma and charm of this man is out of this world.

Ever since the members announced that they were going to take a break and are focusing on their solo work, they've been getting a lot of hate, especially Namjoon. Other kpop fans are always making nasty posts about Namjoon and getting tons of likes, so I love that Namjoon just responds to them with his own music.

As always, he uses words with multiple meanings or that can be interpreted in different ways.
1) Bbangsan, as you saw, can be an honorific, a budhist concept or simply "gibberish" (about a meme speaking 'alien'). He repeats this word three or four times, maybe giving it all those meanings 😊
2) When he refers to not being a f* monk can be the most usual interpretation of not being a saint or not having the patience of a monk to not be disturbed by all the hate they have been receiving. Or he's making a reference to that monk to whom he opened his heart and who sold to the press the content of their conversation.
3)" You walk like a duck," so you're a duck, it isn't worth it... how many people disappointed them?
4) "Get you *** out the trunk"... ah! This line seems to be perfect for the recent hate they are receiving from the CEO of Ador. How many people have been using BTS to surf on their success???
Watching Festa 2022 again was perfect timing. Now, all their words and tears make a new sense.
An album like RPWP would be rejected if it was made before. Now, it's perfect even to a person like me who doesn't love experimental music or jazz (when it's all that dissonant sounds together).

Here's an explanation I saw on twitter about bbangsang: "빵상 is a meme of a fortune teller who said in an interview that she could communicate with aliens and one of the words they said was "빵상" (bbangsang), that she interpreted as "hey humans!" Someone interpreted that part of the lyrics to mean maybe it's his way of saying if he doesn't like someone he doesn't expend energy/time/thoughts hating on them, just shrugs them off, "hey human". Another translation interpreted the word as “absurd” or “ridiculous” or “nonsensically funny” based on the meme it originated from.
This song has stayed in my top 5 ever since the album came out

I'm sorry if this comes off as harsh , but it's genuine feedback that I hope you consider because I am gonna get a lot of comments from your defenders over this so I hope this reaches you first :
I feel like you are really screwing over yourselves and the viewers with these weird and strict rules sometimes. I get it , this is your channel and you are allowed to do whatever you want but this never made sense to me from the start about you beeping/censoring cuss words in the first place. I need help to understand that why would a person will watch your reaction to a song if they are not okay with the cursing? or even if this is about your kids watching your videos then why would you make them watch a certain video in the first place? Same goes for your reaction with movies. Your reaction to Train to Busan, I felt like half of the reaction screen I was watching was just a blurred video. Its not just them censoring it but you can actually see it on their face that they are not at all vibing with the song because it has cursing like I have never seen grown up adults acting like this on the internet when it was your decision to be a reactor in the first place.
Constructive criticism seems a big issue in your community. Your patrons or akages are blindly here to defend YOU by harassing fellow armys just because their ego gets hurts because the truth has been spoken. Summer was talking about how people said she talks and asks questions a lot while watching bonvoyage and I could see how offended she was(I might be wrong , I apologize ). Same was with when Summer said kimchi looked like " organs " and I have always caught her making such nasty comments and expressions over bts's food which is such a disrespectful behaviour but the comments were no different. I could see people telling YOU to ignore the ones who leave an honest review so that 4 grown adults wont get hurt just because someone asked them to pay a little bit attention to the screen rather than Gabriel and Daniel looking at each other figuring what music is playing in the BG missing what's going on the screen? alright. People called out Gabriel for literally sleeping in the corner and even thou 90% of you who defended him knew it was true , I tried to understand him after he commented on the issue. But what exactly changed after that? Since that day I can collect 20 moments where I can see him dozing off and then asking Abby what's going on the screen. There is no lie in saying that this has become a job for you rather than you being genuinely interested or curious about stuff. We don't hire a team of admins and summary writers even if we have full time jobs and kids because we are interested and eager to explore stuff on our own.
For the upcoming defenders under my comment, don't even bother because I wont be reading or responding to any of your comments because then the argument goes on forever and you cannot win with someone who acts like a npc here. I want to be clear that I always really enjoy all of your insights and discussions about the music/video that you're watching, but there are many times where the stories or discussion veers into tangentially related territory and go on for a bit too long when there are such strict time limits. (Again, it would be fine it was occasional because I like you as people as well, but it happens pretty often.)
To Daniel and Gabriel ,stop treating lyrics as a useless part of the song just because you are professional about the production. I don't know why are you so proud admitting that you don't even focus on the lyrics. Respect the hard work that goes into writing those lyrics.

I love how real RM is, he expresses himself truely & unapologetically. He's been under so much pressure these past years & he's not afraid to talk about it or sugar coat it. Thats why his music is always a big hit, because he's not concerned with how popular his songs will be, he writes them for him & people really connect with that. He is truely the best, yet stays so humble & true to himself. This world needs more people like him!
Also, again, I know it has spoilers/snippets of songs you are not going to listen to now but I really really recommend Minimoni Music for you to watch!!! I feel like it's just as important as Festa 2022 and won't have the same impact if you watch after you listen to the album, because at the same time you'll understand more but it might take a whole another year for you to get there so it won't be the same!!! I would also like them to watch the Mini Moni vid, but we all watched the video after listening to the album so it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't have the same impact? and the Mini Moni vid doesn't play all the songs and they need to listen to the full album in order to get the story/message from it and hear all the songs, instead of just hearing small snipets. They've said that they'll get to the solo stuff after the BTS album reviews, and it would make more sense to because they need to hear RM's musical journey from his RM album, to mono, to Indigo, and to RPWP. It won't take a year for them to get back to it and they WILL get to it EVENTUALLY, so you'll just have to be patient with them.
Eventually = in one year if they go without pausing, obviously it'll have more impact after listening to the album, but giving how they move and do their stuff watching now it'll be better than watching when he's back and it'll not be the same, but just my opinion @@makaylaempire3919

I truly hope you react to the album to start to finish once you guys decide to react to it. Including all the songs, even the ones you’ve already done. This album has great transitions and is very well put together as a whole… kinda like a story. I’m only saying this because in the past full album reactions you guys tend to skip the songs you have already heard or watched. But it would be a shame if you did that with this album. It’s a true masterpiece. The other member solo albums as well (: we don’t mind re-hearing a few songs.

2. The meaning of '방상/bangsang' is unclear. It could potentially refer to a Buddhist practice of planting trees or setting up rocks as a from of defence. Another possible interpretation is that 'sang' , while not a Korean honorific term, is often used as the Korean spelling of the Japanese honorific '-san'.

Namjoon’s songs always have a deep meaning. while sometimes there are phrases or words we don’t really get, it always has a deeper reference to it. His tracks are like his diary, so well thought out and personal. This album is definitely my top fav Namjoon album, then it would be Mono.

Beginning of Jan 2023 Namjoon visited a temple on private and talked to a monk. But the monk shared Namjoon’s information about the talk they had and leaked photos of them to the media.
Namjoon posted on ig that he didn’t think that article would be posted and he will be careful in the future.
