I saw a theory on twitter which said that the two kids represent RM one is his childhood innocence and this is why he can't enter, the other is his teenage self. He started the underground scene around this age so this was him navigating the adult world underground, hence crawling through the tunnel. Then he emerged to the music scene, getting attention from the world making demands and requesting that he step up and represent more than just him. All while immersed in the repetitive corporate life where days are chaotic but feel the same. He doesn't feel part of this world because he's still young and hasnt had time to mature into his adult self. In this environment everyone is his friend and ask for photp ops and favors yet he can tell who is fake and who is genuine. Eventually this chaos hits a wall and he is spiraling and getting angry behind walls (the monster eye) but then he's pulled out of this situation by friends. He comes back to himself a little older a little wiser and can now face that world on his own.

It's because Joon doesn't make it for trends or just for money, when music is part of you is important to express yourself, I think Joon does that, share his personal experiences/thoughts/dreams/expectations through his music, also he is involved in the writing, producing, even on the engineering part, with all that he make his listeners have a better experience, honesty I love his solo projects, from RM to RPWP, his collabs and covers ☆
This album represents the real RM. Experimenting with different sounds and genres.

Listening to the full album is more enjoyable from start to finish, even the transitions between each song have many details, even the entire structure of the album has a complete storyline, it gives you a complete audiovisual experience I hope they advance more with the album reviews to get there quickly to individual albums. I feel like this album is going to make a lot of the "best of" lists this year... I agree, that y'all need to watch 'Mini & Moni RM Music'. Without spoilers RM talks about the album and his state of mind for the last year and a half with Jimin. I know y'all enjoy those more personal videos and this is definitely one to watch.
Rm is one of the main reasons why I still place BTS above all other kpop groups. In a simple scheme: Philosophy, intellectual, real meanings and deep subjects. It's one of a kind, You should watch Jungkook's gift “Never Let Go” 💜

In Japanese, friend ともだち is "TOMODACHI" but instead he wrote "DOMODACHI"
ともだち->どもだち(see the " is added to the word friend)✌friend✌
the repeating chorus in jpn sayin みんな友達ここで踊りましょう(everyone who is friend(of mine?) let's dance) so it can be also interpreted to "All of my real friends lets dance together (except the fake friends/supporters)" It seems Namjoon was fed up with fake relationships in the past . And now, he is saying, "Let's not care about the fakes, let's dance (enjoy life) with true friends instead" Which is also connected to the message he shared official introduction of the album and the song "Lost."

Dōmo is a pretty versatile word that's used in a lot of ways.
Dōmo is a casual way to say sorry or hey or thanks (depends on context). And dachi is also a casual way to say friends. So, the title could also be a casual "sorry, friends" or "hey, friends" or "thanks, friends". And bc it's all casual, it can be considered rude/unfriendly too, depending on the person/situation (esp if they aren't actually friends).
Easiest way to translate dōmo would be "very much" or "somehow" and it's considered informal language. So, using it can come off as unfriendly/rude in some situations.
But ppl use it as a shorthand mostly to say thank you or hi in a casual setting. But using a full phrase with dōmo conveys deeper sincerity. And it can also be used to express doubt/uncertainty abt smt too.
‘MiniMoni’ is what we call the jimin-rm sub-unit, short for jiMINI and rapMONI

14:18 that warms my heart so much bc in a livestream last year RM said that a lot of people think he's this very serious person bc they only see him as the leader of BTS, but he said that he's also very funny and goofy and wanted to show that off more. I love how we are getting a lot more of that side of namjoon in this album and MVs, the baby namjoon in Come Back to Me, the spiderman meme in Lost!, the "twerking" agaisnt that street pole in Groin, he's so silly and a child at heart, I'm glad he could pull away from his image of RM of BTS, the serious leader, for this project. I think this is a representation of how it feels like for him to enter the music industry at such a young age. He was in underground rap at 13. He went in without knowing what he will experience so everything is just light and shadows. He meets up with some friends who seem to want to explore this world but it’s quite scary and confusing. But he met a friend and for a bit they were able to avoid the chaos going through the pipe. I think this might be predebut when they were figuring out their music at first the can go through it with no problem. But then you emerge and from the tunnel, or you debut, you think it will be all clear but instead you just emerge with more chaos and people crushed in trying to go to their destination in this very fast moving train. He gets caught up in this world. And when you see a dead end or these obstacles in your path..you can see people just watching and it seems sinister...could be the media. It becomes so difficult in there, lots of pressure then with the help of a friend he found a way to get out of the pressure and go back to his relatively peaceful, innocent life. But in the end...he chose to go back to the high pressure chaotic scene! I think this can represent The pressure he feels being the leader of BTS...having to deal with the world if adults at a young age, trying ti keep from getting crushed by the pressure. He tried to escape the pressure with help of some friends at the beginning of chapter 2...but in the end he chooses to go back in with the friends he had inside.

this song has been praised by the indsutry and is one of the best songs of 2024 so far it´s crazy and his album is the same they even talked about grammy needs to nominate him for album of the year. so it´s really amazing how he finilay got some respect on the music scene.

What amazed me was the Afro rhythm with Japanese verses. Very interesting!
My theory is that he's talking about his trajectory through the music industry. After knowing all the chaos that it is and even if he tried to escape from it, he's addicted to (that's why he comes back at the end). I don't see a thanks to fake friends because he shows that friends helped him to deviate the darker part (dark and fire while he is passing by a tunnel). And a friend helped him to go out from all that chaos. (He told us it was a friend who said to take a time and work on his own things, to find himself again).
Yesss the "Afro rythm" in the Japanese verses is something that's VERY rarely mentioned ! Which is actually one of the main things that makes the song so different and yet so good!

I love this album so much-it’s right up my alley with the rock/alternative music I listened to as a kid.
saying this for like the third time, i truly hope you react to the full album from start to finish when you get to it. No skips... each song was put in a specific order on purpose, the story telling with the production is absolutely amazing and can tend to be overlooked by many. Namjoon is such a musical genius, he creates art and i wish he would get more attention and praise for it.

I think it was, in part, a Young Boy battered by Adult Stresses too early, (while his Friend's Father stopped the boy from entering). The Companion helped him avoid the worst by Navigating away from the most dangerous (Police Barricades), but they both were trapped by the Train. They were small enough to thread through the crush and escape the Monster (Godzilla???) at the Track's End.
He escaped, but decided he wanted the Excitement of Adulthood versus the Idyllic Simplicity of Childhood.
The fact the Song, itself, is in Korean, English, and Japanese, makes me wonder if the Kaiju Eye is indicative of Godzilla - WWII and the Tortured, Entangled, Histories of the three countries?
