RM’s lyricism is art itself, the first song seoul is so cool because you can interpret it as “seoul” the city, somebody’s “soul”, or “i love you so, i hate you so” !!! Such a genius
I heard it and got it stuck in my head before I knew what it was and then spent a very frustrating few hours googling the only words I thought I heard.... "I love you so, I hate you so" 🤣
the way he sang the lines "I'm leavin' you" and "I'm livin' you", you can tell he's making the difference of the words obvious. Like what they do with Outro:Tear. Such geniuses.

It’s funny that you guys mentioned the songs being so different because RM himself says Indigo is 10 songs and 10 different genres! It’s an amazing album!!!
They are 10 Different hues of blue. They represent the "colors" of his 20s. That's why he has a stack of blue jeans in various hues of blue on the cover of the album. He's such a poet.
Btw, key player Docskim is the cowriter (with RM, of course) and producer of Wildflower. He had lost his will and passion for doing music and had decided to quit music but regained his passion while working on Wildflower. The song is really special both to RM and Docskim.

I'll say it now, but I prefer CCW picks a lot more than the polls!! So glad you finally reacted to it!! This was such a good performance, if you want to see more performances of Indigo there's some on their channel, he did one mini performance in a Museum in NY and another like mini concert on Rolling Hall in Seoul, for like 200 army's, where he performed basically every song from Indigo and more with the featuring artists in some, it's such an amazing performance as well!! Btw, Still Life has an MV as well, that's sooo cool!!

Indigo is such a great album! Namjoon perfectly captures various emotions in each songs. It shows his maturity and how much he had grown as a person. The whole vibe of the album is def a lot happier than Mono, his last mixtape released in 2018. But when you actually read the lyrics, there are a lot of parallel from Indigo to Mono which is very interesting. When Namjoon said, his life is an exhibition; hence why Indigo is created, I think this album perfectly exhibit Namjoon as a person, artist, and lyricist 💜💜
Indigo is my favorite solo album, I don’t have a bias, I love all 7 angels but man Joonie explored and took a lot of risks with this album and I loved every single song and the guests he included were so top!!

Indigo is a masterpiece that everybody needs to listen to, this is my first time watching this by the way I never saw it before 🥲 Rm is a musical genius, and a poet that deserves so much more, he’s so underrated. I have freaking watched his tiny desk like 20 times and every SINGLE time I am impressed and in awe. Indigo is so GODDAMN good. So is Mono. Ugh the worst part of the reaction journey is how long it takes on your side to take in certain things like a full album cuz we all want you to share it but UGH I want you guys so badly to be able to just listen to his full albums. All of their albums. Blahblah these guys are something else
Namjoon when it comes to lyrics, it really is something else. He’s a true poet and I’m so happy to be alive to experience him. I love to see how he views life. He always amazes me. Mono and Indigo are such masterpieces.
Like Namjoon said, every song on Indigo is a different color. Each track is unique, but the project is still cohesive. RM is a lyrical genius. I love both Indigo & Mono; they're amazing 👏🏼💜.

Joon's Indigo is poetry! Each and every song is amazing, well thought out, and beautifully penned. When you get a chance watch his performance in Rolling Hills (don't have to have a reaction vdo, but watch it). His energy and his love for this album shows in this performance with just 200 audience.

I feel like Indigo is where Namjoon opens a window for us to see into his life and his experience in a really special way. And it's musically brilliant. Interesting and sometimes really weird. I love that a decade plus in, he's still taking risks with music.
All the members so far are using their solo albums to take musical risks... They haven't played it safe. It means a lot to me that they trust us enough to give us music that steps outside what they already know we live.
RM singing live makes me so happy, too. His rap delivery is masterful but I'm also really moved by his warm, raspy singing voice. You don't have to be singers like the vocal line to move people with your voice 💜

I love RM's solo music the most among BTS members. Mono was my comfort album, and still is. And Indigo is just art. I love music with deep and profound meanings and Namjoon's songs just makes me love him so much more.
The man playing two keyboards at one is Docskim he's a genius and kind, you will mostly see him and his band in BTS lives
I agree, RM’s timing is just amazing!!! Those musicians are at the top of their game, they are another level. But you need to be to play music with RM. They played around so much with the timing, all of them, it was very enjoyable.💜💜💜

Indigo is in my top favorite albums ever. Namjoon is a lyrical genius and a risk taker dabbling on all those different genres His vision for this album was incredibly amazing knowing who he wanted to collaborate with, what sound and vibe he wanted for each song, and artistically putting all the pieces together. It’s like visiting someone’s home with an eclectic decor yet finding pieces of furniture that you can resonate with in every corner of the house. Artworks in a song form. I looooove Indigo. And I love Namjoon 💜💜💜

Yall might enjoy RM live in Seoul @ rolling hall, he performed all of indigo there (except for i think one song) and a couple of his other songs. it was a great little venue. i love the band he brought here especially since they are his friends and people he (and bts) has been working with for years! Each member has such different styles and tastes i have really enjoyed all of it in different ways. lyrics are the pride and joy for Namjoon and I LOVE his lyricism, all of them really put so much thought and care into their music (including bts music) and I love listening to them talking about it. RM is really such a unique person and has so much wisdom to express. Indigo made me cry the first time i listened to it. it's really designed to listen to straight through. I'm not sure it's true that still life is the most popular after wildflower it's just that it was the second single and has a music video so it's easier to request, though maybe it is...ARMY really do listen to full albums though and tbh I think Closer gets the most talk after wildflower but maybe that's just because it kind of took off on tiktok.
When I listened to the whole thing properly it walked me through his mind and then Wildflower took me apart and No. 2 put me back together 💜
I don't need to watch people react to the whole album in that way but I like knowing that they are. It's so worth it.
Please watch "RM 'Indigo' Album Magazine Film" where he explained about his album music production, lyrics and interviews with the various artists who had collaborated with him. It's very interesting and insightful.
