I know you won't react to all his album now because you're doing chronologically and etc, but I really really recommend you guys to watch "Mini&Moni Music" that's Jimin listening and talking to Namjoon about his album, about how the year of 2023 was for him, the expectations and just everything involving the album, and even tho there's some snippets of songs from the album there I think it's really important to watch just like Festa 2022, so I hope you consider watching it!!!
I hope they watch that as well! It provides a lot of insight into what RM was feeling when working on his album.
I saw it on the recommendations and I was hoping Daniel would press on it. It really was very important to understand what RM was going through and the meaning of his work. I do hope they see it soon.

"Its a song about how lost I felt. I spent a really dynamic time for about a year and three months as something happened to me almost everyday so the thought I had then was that I should be apart from the members for a while , just physically not mentally and I had to stop thinking about the team to see myself as I am " As someone who was constantly watching him suffer during this last year on twitter , being bashed down by other fandoms or even armys over every little thing , this broke my heart that he wanted to isolate himself to find HIMSELF again and I am so glad he has got members like BTS beside him as Jimin mentioned that the members felt like " does namjoon not care about us much ?" but they all knew how hard it was for joon and decided to give him some time which is such a mature thing to do . Their friendship is so precious !! They all are gonna return with such mature and positive mindset , cant wait for them !!

LOST is simply one of the most (if not the most) creatively genius and artistic MV I’ve ever seen. Namjoon is a genius.

8:01 As you saw in the beginning is inside Namjoon's brain and the people with him were basically like the film "Inside Out", the happy one, the anxious one, i think the girl was his feminine side (that everyone has) or maybe his confident side and stuff like that, it's very creative and such a good MV!! It also makes you feel Lost with it lol, but the more you watch more sense it makes, at least for me!!
It's really a shame you won't do the whole album now, it's so musical heavy, lots of songs with Guitar, Base, Drums, changing the rhythm mid song, i think you would have a fest listening to it, especially Daniel and Gabriel!!!

The mini moni video is a must watch before you move on from RPWP. I know you have a schedule, but that video adds so much to the experience of understanding and appreciating namjoon’s mindset while crafting the album - in my opinion it is one of the most important pieces of content we have to consider when thinking about the future of bts and army

As parents, we have to show our children curses (or other kind of behaviors) have place and time to happen. Better if not! But they will hear/see it and, with knowledge, they'll be able to manage it.
Trying to "soften" our children's life is not preparing them for life. (I suffered a lot because my mother put us in a cristal box, where everybody was good, life was pink, and when I went out I was viewed as a stupid, easy to be cheated. It was painful).

Sorry but I doubt that they react to any of your requests. Mostly they pay attention to requests made on their patreon and not RUclips. Otherwise they only show reactions on RUclips so they are monetized. This is the real reason why they want to keep the channel 'family friendly' in my opinion.

A primeira parte do MV se passa em um Talk show, chamado The Lost Show starring RM, que pode ser visto como uma critica aos programas de talk show americanos e a falsidade de tudo isso. O video faz uma parodia da natureza roteirizada desses talk shows, da falsa excitação dos apresentadores, de suas tentativas desajeitadas de incluir corações e gestos coreanos. Em um segundo estão animados e no segundo seguinte o rosto cai mostrando seus verdadeiros sentimentos.
Os MCs estão no cerebreo de RM. Na verdade eles são RM, mas tambem são um relfexo da sua experiência vivida no mundo exterior. Em seguida vemos RM dentro de um labirinto. A musica começa e outra pesso aparece, depois outra.
Esse labirinto é um aimbolo comum na teoria do psiquiatra e psicologo Carl Jung, o primeiro a conceituar o Mapa da Alma.
Segundo Jung o labirinto pode ser uma representação da mente inconsciente.. Em muitos aspectos, quanto mais voce se perde mais você se encontra. Isso ocorre porque o labirinto é um símbolo de individuação que está no processo de voce se realizar e encontrar seu verdadeiro potencial. Em outras palavras, para voce se tornar a melhor versão de si mesmo precisa fazer um exame de consciência. Você precisa mergulhar profundamente em seu submundo, enfrentar suas sombras e eventualmente se tornar autoconsciente sobre todos os aspectos de si.
Todo o album Map of the soul do BTS foi uma adaptação musical desse processo de autoconhecimento e em Lost vemos uma estrutura semelhante. Afinal a música é sobre uma época em que ele se sentou perdido e não sabia quem era, como vimos no video de MiniMoni music show em que RM fala sobre o peso de ser lider do BTS. É como se sua personalidade publica o engolisse e o repreendesse.
A ideia que Namjoom tem de si é completamente diferente de como o publico o percebe. O album Right Place Wrong Person é uma busca de aliviar um pouco essa pressão. E em Lost, embora Namjoom esteja muito preso em sua personalidade, em um nivel superficial ele cumpra seu dever e atue no palco. Ele faz tambem uma viagem aos cantos mais produndos de sua mente.
Em uma grande transição vemos Namjoom no labirinto ele surge em um elevador descendo por um vazio escuro. E mais uma vez vemos referencia a Carl Jung, pois segundo ele o labirinto simboliza uma descida ao submundo da psiquè. Então, aqui vemos Namjoon se perdendo no submundo de si mesmo e seu objetivo é encontrar a saída. Nesse contexto encontrar a saída significa uma solução para sua perdição, significa encontrar o caminho certo para si mesmo, mas também encontrar- se no processo.
Podemos ver que no elevador todos são RM (veja as etiquetas nas roupas). Aqui podemos ver a representação dos arquétipos. No centro está Namjoon sendo o EU e os outros sendo a Persona, o Ego, a Sombra e a Anima.
E dentro disso vemos o Namjoom triste, o RM confiante e com amor próprio, vemos também o Namjoom medroso, ansioso, e por fim o RM pateta, o rei da destruição mas também o lado mais infantil de si mesmo.
O fato de todos esses lados representarem sua persona é muito significativo, pois mostra o quão bem desenvolvida é sua persona.
Ele pode estar perdido dentro de si mesmo, mas sua personalidade nunca o abandona. Mesmo que ele seja multifacetado, está lá. É a única parte consistente com o que sabemos sobre ele.
Na vida real ele personifica muito bem a personalidade do grupo, pois é o lider e porta-voz. No MV de Lost sua jornada começa durante umanperdormance ao vivo, ou seja, quando sua persona está no comando. A Persona está esmagadoramente presente e talvez seja exatamente por isso que ele se sente tão perdido.
No elevador vemos que as direções possíveis são infinitas. Então vemos que o elevador o leva a uma especie de escritório, bem quando a musica diz que ele não pode ir a clubes.
Entendo que aqui pode ser uma metáfora para ele se perder no trabalho. Ele e suas personas tentam achar a saída. No final as personas o ajudam a sair pela abertura de ventilação. Mas ele volta para o talk show. Então, vemos que é um ciclo sem fim, ou seja é um EU que volta para mim. E isso nos concecta á outra musica de RM , “Come back to me”.
Namjoom explicou que “Come Back to Me” encerra o album porque essa é uma história de ciclos.
Em “Lost” podemos entender que ele volta para o início porque atraves da música ele se perdeu e atraves da música ele se reencontra.
E quando ele termina sua apresentacao as personas voltam para nós porque também fazemos parte dessa viagem ainda que como expectadores.
E quando rolam os créditos podemos ver ”Você aguenta firme ou vai embora?Voce fica ate o fim talvez esperando algo mais, ou vai viver sua vida deixando de lado o que acabou de ver?
De qual forma Namjoom diz “Estou grato pelo seu tempo”.

There isn’t anything wrong with giving out constructive criticism. That isn’t the issue. There is a way to give said criticism though. And there is no reason to be giving them attitude cause they want to keep their channel family friendly. People could easily request them to upload the uncensored reaction on Patreon for free. I’m sure they’d have no problem.

Even that it's RM song and it's a funny song for me it's not his best material I listened the songs of this album once and no more. I love BTS and I love RM but I can't understand that someone with education curse to express himself especially him, that already showed us his language skills are outstanding but on this album he abuse of using bad words and cursing, even worst with all his influence now everybody is using his cursing songs everywhere because they are singing.
I'm deciding to wait for his next project.
Indeed he is intelligent and educated and sophisticated and whatsoever but imagine yourself bottling up your emotions when literally everyone out there just trying to sabotage you and basically deliberately wants to hurt you. You'll definitely be fed up after a while still he and our members stayed strong and withstood all that for over a decade. This speaks a lot about their endurance and how much they are aware about their personalities and their influence. They are not just a bunch of random guys that's why they thought out everything but he had to unpack all that for his mental and emotional health. Hope you get it now.

This comment is exactly what he was talking about in the music discussion with Jimin on the MiniMoni Music video. He felt stifled by people wanting him to always say the 'right' things. He is tired of that! He wants to be able to create without all the input about what he's doing. He is not 'wrong' and neither is his work on this album.

Honestly, you have such poor taste in music and make cursing as an excuse. You are definitely part of the people who expect him to be “perfect” all the time. You are part of the people who constantly give him so much pressure and stress. You are part of the problem. He is a 30-year old man and he can do whatever he wants. I don’t think him cursing makes him less of a dignified person. He has done so many good things but, of course, you only focus on the cursing part. Moreover, if you truly understood his songs, the cursing is necessary to clearly shows his frustrations. FYI, he is not the only famous and influential person who curses yet, as always, you only crucify him. This fandom is truly full of people who hate him.

you might not noticed, but all the other guys were in the same outfits & have nametags of "RM". So all them are RM. My interpretation - that's the different personas, or how he could act in so many ways in any situation, or versions of him other people say he is. As all of these versions of him walk his path but he's lost what he's doing, whether he belongs to where he is, where to head to next. The show and the hosts are just anyone in the industry, media or just anyone he comes across. People would give him serious faces, happy faces or fake faces. The exit signs are things people tell him should do, or directions he thought should be right, but again just create more confusions.
Namjoon is truly the best leader in the Kpop industry!

About the talk show hosts' weird fluctuations from enthusiastic to numb -- I think, yes, it was meant to make us viewers feel lost like RM, but it also made me think of the US talk show hosts whose shows BTS went on from 2017 to 2020... and maybe, just maybe, the impression that it's all just one big act, and you never know who you can trust or who is really genuine and sincere. The whole mini blow-up with James Corden was the main one that went a bit sour: at first, they appeared to have a genuine camaraderie (and thousands of people became fans after watching Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment with BTS), but a couple of years later, Corden made a (belittling and cliche) joke implying their fanbase was just 15-year-old girls. It wasn't the most horrible joke but it felt worse than it was because it was like a betrayal -- and so uncharacteristic compared to before when it seemed like Corden genuinely respected BTS, and BTS (and Army) affectionately called him Papa Mochi. This MV, to me, feels like a reflection of the artifice of the entertainment industry in general, and how alienating or inconstant it can be. BTS returned to do the Crosswalk segment with Corden again and it was fun, but it never felt quite the same after that.
That was an interesting interpretation. I like it.
Listening to the full album is more enjoyable from start to finish, even the transitions between each song have many details, even the entire structure of the album has a complete storyline, it gives you a complete audiovisual experience I hope they advance more with the album reviews to get there quickly to individual albums. Please, you must enjoy the experience that we all lived.
I truly hope they do! The transitions are so good it makes the songs flow seamlessly from one to the next and make the album look like one long song ! It's so freaking good !
I have not yet moved on to the transition from Nuts to out of love 🫠
The no captions in the beginning I feel like was definitely intentional. I think it was supposed to make us feel like how it's like in someone else's shoes who doesn't speak that language or is multilingual. Like how it is to be in other places and not able to understand the person speaking to you. For example, BTS when they were getting big and were traveling around being interviewed, especially in the US, being interviewed by people in English and that's not your first language not being able to understand them and the pressure it was for RM as a leader to be the only one speaking in English and being the translator. Also, the interviewer's dead pan expressions and hyper enthusiasm show how people can be fake or how we have to show an emotion or expression at times when we are not necessarily feeling that way because we or you are expected to.
The MV and song are nuts. I love it! If you have seen the show Severance it gives me that kind of vibe. But this is in Namjoon's brain. All those people are like his personalities, his thoughts and emotions. Different parts of himself. As you can see they are all wearing RM name tags. But he's struggling inside and it's like the one who comes out who has to climb and leave all his other "hims" behind is the version he has to show to the world. He leaves parts of himself inside and only shows us one side of himself cus he felt like that's what he had to do at that time.That's why he feels lost or he did feel lost.

also the show hosts when speaking korean are very animated but when they’re speaking english they’re very monotonous. could be a reference to how namjoon feels more expressive in korean, having to translate a korean sentence to english you often lose context/feeling.

They say they do it because they want their kids to watch their channel. I think if it's like that, then don't react to songs with cursing in them, period! They are only reacting to it because ARMYs want to see it, and they want the views. the album RPWP has been a wild but nice ride. I’ve been really enjoying it and it is more my style than other solo albums. It’s been fun.
