    Thanks for the video, took about an hour, appreciate going over it, hardest part is taking screws out in weird angles.

    Thank you! I was wondering how gas oven looks inside and why the left side is lit up only and the right looks dark. I haven’t used gas for 15 years😅

    Any suggestions on that could be the issue if my igniter heats up but it never sends gas?? Same model as in the video

      It could still be the igniter not working well enough, or the safety valve it connects to, or the gas regulator.

    What screw do I use to assist in changing the oven ignitor?

    • @m10stuff
      @m10stuff  Месяц назад

      You can reuse the screws that are currently installed

    What is that device you are using to check if the igniter is receiving power?

      It’s a non contact voltage tester. Like this one amzn.to/4cFwqIr

    Whyyy can I not get the bolts undone? What did you use? Mine might have a little more lip than yours so I can't get a tool in easily.

      Shoot. I’m sorry. These were just small bolts so I used the nut driver on my multi tool screwdriver.

    You're electrical diagnostics are explained incorrectly.
    If the element is good, you will have continuous AC voltage through the heater/ignitor and both wires.
    Having AC in only one of two wires indicates the element is failed in an "open" state.
    That means it is not allowing current go through the heater coil. That is why the neutral wire does not indicate voltage present.

      Fair enough. I’m not sure I follow the difference but either way it’s the same result.
