Travis is an AWESOME guy. Met him at a Kagwerks course and he was a phenomenal instructor and great guy. Really enjoyed that course and glad I got to take it from him.
Travis was one my TACs in SUT and briefly my boss in SWCS. He also owned the CrossFit gym I went to Fayetteville. Travis is an awesome dude. Cool to see him enjoying his retirement.
I went to Ranger in 92 as a Marine .......I had just turned 20 ..... Loved the bat boys, in fact, I got close to some dudes that were from Bravo, I had a 3rd bat flash in my cover given to me by my bro .......(Marines do not display Ranger tabs on their uniforms .....but those of us that did have one sometimes pined one under our covers ) ........I'm 50 now all the guys that were 18 now for Gulf war 1 are now 50 more or less ... Crazy getting old...........but i try and stay fit ....our country needs men to stand back up.

All of my Uncles were in WWII. Dad wasn't old enough. Dad had 23 years, Brother had 22 years, and I had 20 years in the Air Force. Family is important! Tradition is a duty.

One of my closest Brothers served with Bravo company in Somalia. We speak practically daily. The older we get the closer we get. The Haiti deal was Operation Uphold Democracy. I just got to the 505th at the 82nd when word came down to get ready to do that. If I remember right we made it over Florida keys in the air when they turned us around. Shortly after that was Bill Clinton's criminal interment camps in Panama which my unit was deployed to in December of '94.
Growing up in the Army and doing Germany-- wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Roots to leaves and then serving-thanks for sharing your stories--makes me miss my Brother in a good way💪🏼🇺🇸❤️
Great podcast guys, I alway enjoy listening to the talk that happens here. One thought though. As a sound tech it drives me crazy when you all set your gates so heavy. Please check settings and move to a slow attack on those gates it will sound way more natural.
too funny about the marines always get hand me-downs and crap you get good at accusations and reconing gear Back in the day I was amazed at the Rangers Bats ( at least 3rd any way ) and their gear ( fkers had 3 lockers each ..... very envious back in the day .......my gear was from the Nam................i think it still had bullets holes in it ......... ( my buddy took me over to the compound to show off his shit and thrash the nontabs..... they thought it was funny that a Marine had a tab. My pops was Viet Nam arym dog DI so growing up was interesting ....... i get along good with you doggies ..... there are not many of us that have done both sides of the training.

I work for Denman Services Inc. The Denman name played a big part in my community. The Denman family also donated property to the hospital.
