    I alway just fold my left over sheets and fry them and add some salt after I take them out of the oil. I Just love the crunch

    I do believe this is the most underrated food in the whole world!!! These egg rolls are so good that I don't even like egg rolls from Chinese restaurants or panda express any more because they aren't anything close to these. I've made these multiple times and my family and friends love them so much!! Thank you for a fabulous recipe!! And yes, to anyone thinking about making that sauce, definitely make the sauce! Its amazing!! Oh another thing is, if you want sweet Asian chili and don't know which one to buy, I recommend Pantai brand. You can find it at your local Asian market.

    A lot more meat than noodles? Heck Yeah! I love eggrolls and support Hmong restaurants but here in MN they are always stingy with the meat. Keep up with the vids, you have good video skills along with a nice voice and pleasing personality.

      Definitely agree. There’s lots of good places to get Hmong food but I’ve yet to find a meaty egg roll

    Can you explain how to freeze and fry frozen eggrolls? Making some for my meka coworkers but I've never froze them to be fried before. Thanks!

      Cutting/cleaning whole killed chicken is so satisfying...if you do this video can you explain some of the traditional herbs that go in. I feel like I’m always missing something.

    Could you freeze filling and use later if you don’t want to make 60 egg rolls at a time

      I suggest freezing it when they are done wrapping. If you freeze the filling alone and thaw it out later, it will be too watery. Hope that makes sense.

      I wish I have one! :) Papaya salad dressing is not my specialty. I wish it was. I know a lot of people who make great papaya salad but haven't shared me the secrets yet. So maybe in the near future.

      I add soy sauce instead, no oyster. You can also buy vegetarian oyster sauce which is made from mushrooms.

      I don't have one but you can look it up and type in Menlo egg roll wrapper.

    Do you have to soak the wood ear mushroom first? If so for how long?

      It you buy the dried ones yes, soak them in warm water for at least 30 minutes to an hour. If you're using fresh ones, then you don't need to soak.

      Will the eggrolls be soggy if I do all the prep work of rolling them into the wraps put them in the fridge then fry them the next morning?

      @@papayasalad8650 They will get soggy. I recommend freezing them if you decide to do it ahead of time.

    When you said you like more meat, I thought you would be closer to 50% meat.
    That ratio is what I would call a standard egg roll with 'some' meat. (but I'm a real carnivore)

    Egg rolls with rice vermicelli is actually a Vietnamese dish. It’s called “bún chả giò” in Vietnamese.
