    I’ve gone through all the ingredients and the only thing that could have gluten in it is the chicken powder, however you can use gluten free chicken stock cubes that makes it all gluten free. So these egg rolls would be great for celiacs to make. Thank you, I love your recipes and your preparation tips. 👍

    This is such a delicious recipe. I doubled the recipe and keep them in the freezer for days when I don’t feel like cooking. The best part is that you can pop them into the air fryer and they’re as crispy as if you were to deep fry them. It is so much easier and healthier.

    Thanks for the idea of pre-preping the egg roll content on a pan and cutting/dividing more evenly. I think this make the rolls more consistent.

    I just want to thank you. My wife and I made these Vietnamese egg rolls yesterday and they are so good. I used to live in San Diego they had a restaurant there and I would buy hundreds at a time and they were so good your's recipe is just like there's. I am so happy you shared your recipe.     I made this today. Nice trick with the 7up and coconut and brush. I used coconut milk mix with sparkling water instead. I brushed both sides with the coconut milk instead of the egg white and it worked just as well. What I did was I put them in the oven at 140 degree Celsius for 15 minutes first. This way, it will remove any excess water from the wrapper and also precook the raw filling. So when I cook it in oil, it doesn't explode or burn and doesn't absorb too much oil.

      Also, what are the steps you use when freezing the rolls? Do you follow the same steps before freezing, or do you oven pre-cook the frozen then fry the rolls on the day the rolls are served?

    Thank you so much. I used to live on a military base and bought large batches from a Vietnamese woman and I loved them so much. I moved about ten years ago and have not been able to find Veitnamese rolls since. I will definitely be making these. thank you

    Vietnamese Egg Rolls are one of my most favorite foods.... they taste so good but they definitely need to be CRUNCHY--- they absolutely must have that very distinctive CRUNCH... I fry mine in Peanut Oil and love dipping them in a Fish Sauce mixture with the garlic and a bit of brown sugar, vinegar, etc etc... I could eat these Vietnamese egg rolls every day.

    you don't need to return my comment I have saved you video and don't want to lose it.. thank you.. thank you.. thank you.. this is the finest recipe I have been collecting ingredients several times I've started to make your rolls and find I didn't have the right things waiting on mail order wrappers that didn't come after waiting because they were sent back damaged I spent days look for the right wrappers .. i live in a small moon community and have to order from outlets.. I think I have everything now.. and someone to help me roll.. thank you for being so generous with your knowledge I watch this video a lot your voice is soothing and you explain everything so well

    Wow you are super detailed! Thanks so much for epspecially explaining the tapioca vs starch wrapper. Sometimes they are nearly transparent at restaurants, but not when I've used the style of paper you do also. Wonder why they are sometimes fried and transparent

      Thank you for your support! Please try to find the rice paper with Rice flour ingredient in it, and use egg wash inside, and coconut cream mix with sprite on the outside, it will be crunchy!

    Thank you for sharing your recipe! They look so good! I usually like using the spring roll wrappers, instead of the rice flour paper. Any tips on what is a good time frame to fry the rolls for a party and how to keep them crispy? Thank you!!

      You can fried before hand about 90% done, keep in fridge or freezer then fry again when needed, remember to use small to medium heat , don’t put too many in the pan when frying and adjust the heat so that the spring rolls won’t burn

    So glad to see a video of a Vietnamese cook using Vietnamese rice paper ((Bánh Tráng) and not the Chinese spring roll or Chinese wonton wrapper to make Vietnamese egg rolls.
    Some cooks use the Chinese spring wrapper to make so-called Vietnamese egg rolls.
    Chinese roll wrapper is way too coarse, is way too thick compared to Vietnamese rice paper (Bánh Tráng). The Chinese wrapper makes Vietnamese egg roll taste like the oily Chinese roll --- ew.

    The best recipe ever.Add some cut up scallions,less salt,add little soy sauce and fish sauce to the mixture would be perfect. Can’t wait to try it with some bean sprouts or with can water chestnuts cut up for crunchy texture…Thanks a million.
