Donna even though I can't quilt right now I love to watch the videos you make, but it makes me sad that I can't jump in and sew (my stuff is in storage). As I sat and watched your demo I was trying to figure out how to make the runner into a quilt and there it was you showed us how to do it. It was as if it was magic, you knew we wanted to see how to do that. Good job. I am going to try to sew up a set for my two best friends, my mom and sister. Thanks for all your good work.

Hello Donna, you are my favourite tutor. I am so impressed that your best friend is your mother-in-law! I always imagined that would be the case with me.........but No! My d-in-l and I are chalk and cheese. That is my great sadness. I think it proves what a lovely person you are and also Matt’s mother. Congratulations to you both. Thank you for all you have taught overseas quilters.

I'm always using graph paper to figure out whatever quilt I'm working on, because I have a really hard time making a pattern as it's written. It would be great to have this clipboard to keep all my graph papers for a project all in one piece! Great table runner too. Love the idea of making a quilt out of the pattern. Also appreciated your stitching in the ditch. That's mostly what I do, and it's nice to see how nice yours looked, back and front. Thanks for another great tutorial, Donna!

Your technique of measuring from the center of the Friendship Braid Table Runner is an excellent tip. Thank you from Tulalip, WA. in the Great Pacific NW just a bit north of you. Thanks for the tutorial. The table runner is beautiful, and your instructions always give me confidence. I am wondering why you cut the light strips into so many 2 1/2” squares, when you only used a few in the 9 patch to start? Thanks for the info. Always look forward to your videos.
