After a while, i wanted to experiment. So i bought the Fender Mustang LT25. One of the best expenditures i have ever invested in!👍😁 Purchased the footswitch after a few months and i have now been using this amp on a regular basis. Normally 3-4 sessions a week. Highly recommended for any beginners.👍👍👍🤜🤜🤜

Keep in mind that if the store doesn't have the specific Fender switch I showed, another brand could work as well. My son has the same amp but for bass, and he got another brand of switch and it worked fine. Was around $30.

It’s a great amp and anyone looking for a comparable practice amp from Orange, Blackstar, Marshall, etc. needs to check this one out. Honestly , this Amp is absolutely fantastic for practice. Itactually sounds awesome and better than some of the slightly more expensive amp.. it's actually pretty loud and beefy on its own. Easy-to-use , intuitive. Has enough effects to satisfy many styles of playing. It's super fun and affordable . My favorite is using a strat with a wah and ocd OD on top of punk skate ( add some reverb and echo delay)

Hello Jeffery - although a couple of years have passed by since you made this video, it is still very useful. You are a similar type of player to me from what I could tell! Yours is the first video I have seen that features a quick and simple demo of how to use the foot switch which is really helpful. I actually understood what you were telling me! Looks ideal for my purposes. I wondered if you could tell me what sort of weight the L25 is? I keep my gear in one room and move it to another out the back when I want to play, so if this amp isn't too heavy that'd be ideal. I've also seen people mention that you can dial the volume down with the Master without losing any real quality in the tone coming out of the amp - what's your opinion on that? Anyway, sorry to bombard you with Qs, I don't mean to be a pain, but any info you can share would be very gratefully received! Appreciated the video - great stuff. All the best from me in the UK. I haven't weighed it, but I'd say its not hard to move around at all. Maybe 10 lbs? Next day off I have I'll go weigh it; if you don't hear from me, it was around 10 lbs. Sound quality to my un-trained ears was good at any volume level I've played at so far. I wouldn't say lowering the master volume took away anything from the quality of the sound. Am trying to decide between the LT 25 and the 50. Is there a big enough difference in sound/quality/features to justify the extra 150 for the 50? Can the 25 be heard if trying to play live with drums/bass? Thanks!
I think the electronics are identical on the two, you're just getting more volume basically. If I were performing I'd go 50 amp, if you're just playing with guys in a room, the 25 might be enough...depends how loud your friends are. :) But sound and features are otherwise identical on the two sizes. For me, it was just price point. My son plays bass and I can keep up with his 40 amp if he doesn't go crazy.

Absolutely. I just showed the use of the Fender foot switch, but you can also put regular pedals in between your guitar and the input jack, just like any other amp.
Hmmm...did you go into the menu on the amp itself first? Because that's where you pick which 2 you want to switch between. I think 1 and 2 are default settings, so maybe you just haven't set up the choices in the menu?
do you know if thats the only foot switch that works with the amp, and also, is 2 presets the max it can switch between even if i were to use a different foot switch(if even possible)?
My son has the bass equivalent of this amp and the store did not have any Fender foot switches in stock, so we tried another brand they had and it worked fine. I think any footswitch would likely work. BUT....because the menu options on the amp only allow you to pick 2 presets, I'm guessing that even if you had more buttons on the footswitch, it would still only let you go between the two presets you've selected on the menu.
Its possible there may be other places to get more pre-sets, but there are like 70 or so extra presets on the Fender Tone app you can load into your amp, and also you can make your own and save it to your amp as a new pre-set. So they give you a lot to start with. *There are only about 60 spots available on your amp, so you have to pick and choose a bit, but really, its pretty good to have that much choice on a little amp!
I've seen other styles and brands used as well. Fender makes multi-button pedals as well, but with this amp I've only experimented with the single button one. My son has a similar fender and he bought another brand of pedal and it still worked fine. (The one I show was only like $22 though! :)
I don't know for certain, but I suspect that it would work, but I'm not sure if the amp itself has enough features to make good use of such a pedal. Just looking online the GTX7 has controls for recording and tempo, etc. This amp doesn't have that built in so maybe that switch is a bit overkill? But it'd probably do the basics. But the single switch I show here sells for about $22, and the GTX7 is closer to $140. Pick your poison I guess.
It's not a bad product and honestly if you're a beginner it gives you plenty of practice but personally I sent mine back after a few days I was refunded and I ended up taking a Spark mini and Bias FX2 from the same brand The sound of the speaker is not the best but it is so much more complete than the mustang. For someone who is just starting out I would recommend a spark mini, it's more than enough unless you play live or you are a tone nerd and can’t live without your tube

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's an iPhone version available wherever you get your apps from. Search for "Fender Tone" and it should come up.

Hard for me to say, but it could be. If the amp didn't respond at all to the tuning...your volume on the guitar itself is up all the way?

Mine sucks it has no good tones and literally all it does is phaser effects that are fuckin annoying and useless.
