Bravo, finally he says this. I have said many times that fans really shouldn't take Tuomas' words so literally. He speaks always his mind, tells how he feels (at the time) and has this very Finnish way saying things in a somewhat absolute way. He is very smart and in the end almost always have done practical decisions.

I would've preferred having Tuomas, Tarja, Empuu, Jukka and Marco stay in the band. That's the band I grew up on when I first heard them in 2002. If anything, I think the band just needs a break. Touring, meeting up with fans, making albums, etc can be exhausting at times

I read an article after Marko left that he had a long conversation with Emppu and decided the band would stay together. The two of them also agreed if Floor ever left the band it would be the end of Nightwish and they would all go off on other projects.
Tarja was really tough. Marco leaving was also very difficult, but I agree with them when it comes to Floor. I can’t think of one female vocalist on the planet that could replace her and that would satisfy the Army. Sharon Den Adele of (Within Temptation) is my 2nd favorite female vocalist and the only one I think that might be able to keep the band going, but as talented as she is it just wouldn’t work. Floor is super loyal and I pray to the Metal gods that she will always put Nightwish first.

Actually, Anette was the right voice for Nightwish with a pretty and light and bright and high voice, and they should have used her voice on all Nightwish studio albums from the very beginning, which would have made all vocal parts really great - it’s one of the prettiest and highest voices in the world that matches my perfect voice the most, my voice being the highest and lightest and brightest and prettiest voice in the world (and Anette’s voice is actually similar in terms of vocal height and lightness of the tone to the voice of the singer from Within Temptation, but that singer misused a very unsuitable name that only reflects me) etc, while most other singers don’t even come close, and the other 2 singers from Nightwish are the most overrated ever, and are both impstrs misusing big terms and unsuitable clothing / high heels etc that only reflect me THE only Queen / Lady / Goddess / Princess / Star etc!

Also, I am the only irreplaceable being and the only Sharon - such names and big terms cannot be misused by hum’ns, and must be changed, and, misusing big praise words and exaggerating avrg singers’ skills is also beyond wrong and only promoting impsts!

Also, there is only one God / Gods and one Nightingale etc and that’s me, and all unsuitable terms must be edited out, including the nature related term sea that’s in the first name, and talent is extremely rare, and only I have the supreme / amazing talent and the perfect voice etc, and a few natural singers (such as Anette and a few others) have a hum’n singing talent aka a pretty voice, which is what makes one a true singer, because anyone can learn how to sing, but if one’s voice isn’t really pretty and enjoyable and high / light etc, it’s just going to be another generic voice in the music industry - big terms / purity terms etc that imply superiority and purity cannot be misused by hum’ns in names or yt names or in comments etc, and compIiments etc cannot be misused when referring to hum’ns, and only singers with pretty voice should have their voice itself compIimented in a way, but also without exaggerations etc!

Most Nightwish songs include sekret references to me and to TNW etc, and I still listen to the new songs, but the new singer definitely doesn’t suit Nightwish songs because her voice is too heavy / weighty / harsh and too dark and too low for symphonic metal with such themes that require a very high and light (color lightness) and bright voice that is soft and light (the opposite of heavy) etc, and the new singer makes it sound more like heavy metal than symphonic metal, especially if they don’t make her sing in a softer way or a toned down way, as in the studio recording of Pan and in the song Procession, where she sings in a softer way, and normally her normal chest voice and its sound are more suitable for hard rock and heavy metal and alternative rock maybe, but definitely not for symphonic metal!

However, the agcy decides everything, including the singers they select to be in the most known bands etc, but in an ideal situation, they would have recorded all studio CDs with Anette’s voice which has the most serious sound in the music industry and has a natural flow and pretty voice, and the right techniques, so the songs recorded with her voice sound very natural and very listenable and very serious / professional - this doesn’t really happen tho, because the agcy wouldn’t allow it, but if it would have been me the one making all the decisions from the beginning, that’s how I would have wanted it to be, because studio recordings are a big deal, because the studio version is the version one listens to almost all the time, so if I would have been the one making the decisions in general or even if I would have been someone with a band etc and wanting to record a CD, I would have hired a singer with a really pretty / high / light voice to sing the studio version, and I would have hired other singers with lower voices only for lives!

For me NightWish is not the same without Marko, sorry but he had a big part in the band.
Well, I still buy the records but I guess the band is over soon anyway, nobody escape age and nobody can stay on the top forever.

That strong male vocal of Marko is what made the band unique ans famous. The most listened to/watched on RUclips is Bye Bye Beautiful by a huge mile, and Marko was the lead singer on that. Troy just doesn't cut it - they need a new male vocalist now if they want to cut it.
